chest pain relief

im 20 with no past med compilications but, ive been having some chest pain....and went to the doc and had xray and ekg and everyting turned out normal. they said try prilotec otc for heartburn...im on day 2 taking it.....should i be worried its something else with my heart?

im on meds 4 that which is helping maybe that couldve caused it, I hope its muscle strain but why is there no pain relief. I thnk thats why im more anxious bcause I have alot ov chest pain, it also goes up my bak & I also feel tingling... Im soooo scared it could be somthng more & right now I hate the doctrs because I think they dont care. I really want to see a cardilogist but will that put my mind at ease if they say everything is fine?

I have been having a bad pain in the right upper part of my chest when I rub it it hurts all the way to the bone. It doesn't move I feel like I'm short of breath or gonna pass out. I have tried muscle rub and relaxers but no relief. Bending over and taking deep breaths makes it hurt worse. It's not a constant pain either. I have severe anxiety so I always think the worse.

00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. The only relief that I get from the chest pressure is to lie on my stomach (weird right). When my doc put me on nexium I felt great for about 4 days, the pressure came back and is still with me today. If figure if something was "serious" I would have died by now, this is simply annoying, I compare it to a toothache that wont go away. I have tried, acetominophen, NSAID and motrin (no relief). I have been thru Internists, Cardiologist and Chiropractor.

At times I will have to be hitting my left chest to get relief and at times hit those ribs.I have seen my doctor and he had done ECG for me bt I was told my heart is OK.I have seen physioteraphist also but this pain is still there.I have been feeling this pain since may,2011.And I feel it more anytime I have sometin going on my mind.Right now,the chest is more on my left chest and my left armpit and the left upper back.Pls,what could be the problem?

I am experiencing for the past 3 days a pain inside my chest, in the middle and in the back, the ribs area like a pulling muscle it seems to be relief when I burp.

What could it be? I was in the ER last night for chest tightening, pain, and shortness of breath. They did a cat scan and ruled out PE, blot clot on my lungs, and prescribed me an inhaler t i use for when if I get the tightening in my chest anymore. But today I'm woke up and my chest hurts about 3x as much as it did yesterday and it seems like whenever I get the pain to subside, it just comes right back. The pain is mostly on the right side of my chest.

I have been getting alot of liver area pain, sore lymph nodes in neck and under arm, nausea,stomach pain, left side pain(the opposite of the liver area), pain in my upper right back, pain in shoulder and arm, my testicles feel a bit sore, my vision is blurry, fatigue ,weakness even at the very moment I am feeling like I will collapse and black out even after getting more then enough sleep.... especially while standing up and walking around.

I had a chest pain and keeps burping. I felt like I am choking over the sir in my stomach and I had to burp to feel good. Consulted a doctor and this was the advise: "This gastric is an accumulated problem for sometime. Then we will start having reflux. Reflux - some gassy n burning sensation from stomach n goes up to d throat.Since this reflux going tru in esophagus...where d esophagus pass above the heart...

Does anyone here have pain in the neck and chest area? The area right above my clavicals just hurt so bad right now. The back of my neck hurts as well, this pain only started more intensely the last week or so.I can not lay on my right side of the head because the pain in my neck, throat area just ache too much. I still get pain right behinde the left breast, but i have been told it is chondroitis. I do have a dr. appt.

Finally told my parent that I'm expecting and they actually handle it very well. My dad and my mom are so happy. So glad I got it off my chest and 2 more days till I'm 21.

Does anyone have any help for chest muscle pain? I have all the usual back and neck pain but now it's gone around the shoulders and chest. Git so bad I went to the ER. Of course they did a complete cardiac work up even though I said it was muscular. Ekg, echo, chest x Ray and CT scan (looking for embolism or clots) were all good, although I do have rhythm issues, so they sent me home with no relief.

For 5 years I have suffered with Chest pain that radiates into my back and down both arms during excertion. I have had stress test, heart cathorization, throat and stomach scoped. I've been tested to see if I am having spasms in my esophagus. I went to an orthopedic doctor who performed an mri of my neck and upper back. I did have two disc buldges in my neck but he said that would not cause the pain. The pain stops when I stop the excertion.

So here's my story. I never had heartburn before in my life. I was prescribed 40mg of prednisone for 5 days and was never told to take an antacid or ppi while I was on it. Fast forward to the 6th day I was woken up to chest pain and my heart fluttering. I wasn't sure what it was and couldn't fall back asleep until hours later. I went to the ER two days later for the chest pain and they gave me an oral steroid to take along with 2 weeks worth of famotodine to take.
