I'm a 23 yr old male, 6ft and weight 205lbs. I have been experiencing this left side chest pain for over 2 years now. The past year and a half, I have been in the charity system and had multiple test including, echo's, blood work, stress test, holter monitors, ekgs. I recently just got insurance and got established with a family Doc, been seeing hime about 3 months. I've had an ekg, holter monitor, and blood work done through him.

okay hers the question over the last couple of months once in a while I get a sharp pain under my left chest muscle almost on my side, it only last a second or 2. usually I am siting down. It hasnt happen while I have been active. there are no other symptoms . I take my bp right after it happens and its is122/ 82 paulse 83, my doctor says it a typical chest pain and not to worry . well I am worried what do you think.

I have been suffering from a feeling of being light headed and falling over, and last week while driving I thought i was going to pass out, and all of my right side went numb , I am also suffering from stabbing chest pains on the left side of my chest and aching in my left arm, I have had a lot of tests done on my chest and heart and they were all clear but when i got a look at my records with my gp, it said that I have got single vessel disease, anybody help me I am lost now and dont know what

I've been having chest pain on my left side sort of right under the rib and I'm not sure what is it? I've had it for almost two years now. I never went to look it up because I thought maybe it's just something minor, but it keeps happening. When I lay on my side or being in a particular posture then it'll hurt and the pain is really sharp.

Hi, I am 27 years and over the last year and a half I have been experiencing this sharp pain in what feels like the left hand side of my heart. It is approximately half way up my rib cage on the left hand side and about an hour and a half to two hours later I started to get a really heavy slow heart beat. Is anyone able to tell me what this could be??

I was taken to the hospital with chest pain on the left side near the breast area. I also had numbness on the left side of the body. My blood pressure was 235/195 which did go down after taking several nitro pills. There was sensitivity to light and some pain in the area of the left eye also. After having a cat scan of the head, chest cat scan and angiogram i was told there was nothing wrong.

It's not like real pressure. I am very mindful of my heart and it beating. Whenever I have anxiety I can tell when I have an arrhythmia and where it is. This more like a popping. Like when your knee pops? Except it feels like my breastbone.

I also have pain in mine left side of foot and some time the pain in mine foot is high. i also have pain in mine left chest left side of shoulder. Mine parrents have history of Cardiac problems and have stunt. Several time i went to cardiologist mine ECG, blood pressure, ETT Ecocardiogram and Cardiac Enzyme all fine. Mine Colestrol level is also ok. i walked daily and never feel any problem in walking whether it is halfy an hour or more.

I have also been burping alot. The pain is gone if i relax my chest but the deeper the breath the sharper the pain.

Morning,,I am a 56 year old woman with 3 leaky valves mild and no medication is needed However in the last 3 days I have had this squeezing pressure felt in upper left side back near breast I have belching and sour taste usally comes up sometimes small twinges of chest pain with belching and abdominal discomfort and diareha Does this sound heart realted or gastro? I am afraid it is heart attack symptoms.

Now after two days of feeling okay, I was laying down and started having a pressure/ pain feeling in my chest on the left side, after me relaxing trying to let it pass for 10 minutes, my left forearm started feeling a little pain or numbness. An hour and thirty minutes lasted the feeling is still here in my forearm wrist and hand and I can't make a fist... any ideas?

Well, it's not really in the chest area as you would think about it. Its on my left side, right under my breast. It goes along the left side and to my back as well. There's pain and then there is also pressure. It hurts when I sing, like after I haven't breathed in enough. Also it hurts when I lay on that side. If I'm sitting up, it's more so like there's pressure in the back.

Within the last week or so, I've been getting sharp pains within my left arm. This usually happens when I bend it a certain way or put pressure on it. In addition I've also been getting a "heavy" feeling on my left side of my chest where the heart is located. It's not painful, and it's not hard to breathe but I know this can't be good right? I have been having horrible chest pain for four years now and it feels like knives stabbing into my chest. At first it was only on my left side and would last a couple of seconds to an hour. Now it has obviously gotten much worse at will last up to two days at a time, and ocassionally on my right side as well. When this happens I generally have a pain that is also in my left shoulder - same feeling just like a knife stabbing me.

I have high blood pressure and over the last 2 weeks have dull ache on the left side of chest. This has sent me to ER and the EKG, Blood work and Chest XRay are all normal. I have a cardio appt but just have been curious about the chest pain. Will the stress test be needed or having normal EKG, blood work and XRay are enough?

Hi...I m 36 year old. From last few days i m feeling chest pain on upper left side. Before a month, i did my all heart test (like ECG, ECHO, CT engio). ECG was not fine but echo and CT engio was ok. My cholesterol and uric acid was at board line. Please anybody tell me, why i have chest pain when my echo and CT engio test was Ok and what should i do....

I have been feeling my heart beat unusually hard, for example laying on my left side, I can actually feel my pulse over on the left side of my rib cage, and pressure as if some blood flow were being backed up some how. Or I may also feel my heart beating / fluttering. I have also had palpatations . Something has certainly changed in me, but, The echocardiogram (resting), stress test, chest xray, and Holter monitor were all normal.

For the last few days I've developed intermittant chest pain (left side) right where my heart it. It isn't severe, just kinda achy. It comes and goes, but I'm kinda concerned about it. I have chest pain for a week now. The pain is in the middle to left side and it also hurts on the side below the underarms. My back sometimes hurt too. I had my blood work done and my cholesterol is high, triglycerides is high, LDL is high, HDL is 59.46mg/dl, VLDL is high, CHOL/HDL ratio is high, uric acid is high. I had some chest pain before but i just had it for a day but now I am experiencing it for about a week now and it last for about 5 to 10 minutes or 5 to 15 minutes.

ve also been having occasional chest pain as well recently, kind of like a pressure or tightness in the left hand side of my chest. My doctor will probably say it's nothing, so should I go be checked out again and ask for more tests? What tests should I ask for? Would another stress test be useful?
