For years had symptoms and pinpoint low back pain and left bottom-end rib pain. Also in this quadrant=pain. Nothing on Right. Liver? I just found new tests (beyond the basics) I would like to take-for carcinoid syndrome! Ultrasound says OK? All unsure what causes pain, even Hepotologists! so I should clear HCV first and then see? Anybody similar pain? Only have hypertension besides. Aorta pressure?
Lately, as in the past week or so, whenever I have a cigarette I feel as though I am exhaling too much, and can feel a cold dull feeling washing over the left side of my chest. Is this my lung, my heart, perhaps just the muscle? I do not excersize too often, rarely in fact. My girlfriend was recently in the hospital for a heart issue, where they did an ablasion due to an extra pathway that was causing her heart to get up to 200 beats a minute.
ve been experiencing random sharp pain around my upper left side of my chest.(Also has happened in the right side of my chest) The pain is difficult to describe. It's not all over, it's just in a small area. (feels like the size pinpoint, if that makes sense) I guess an accurate description would be it feels as if I've been shot by an arrow. (sometimes felt as if It went in at an angle.) This unknown issue happens at random times.
Its no continuos and can say majorly reoccurs in the evenings only. I get the pain on the left side of my left breast and also the top portion. No pains in the nipple. Its kind of a pinching pain deep inside. I havent taken any doctor appointment yet. Just found this link and thought will message here for some answers and if any have relief from this. I am 28. And my left breast is also a bit bigger (larger compared to the right one... I can easily see the difference.. Is it normal?
Over the past weeks he pain has improved, there is no pain at all in either side when I move my arms like there used to be, however now on the left side I have this shooting pain that feels like its comming from within my body, is very hard to pinpoint. It almost feels like its starting in my back and shoots right through my heart and out the front.
The odd part is when i consume any food he pain get very bad.
Any suggestions?
The pain never happens on both sides of the chest at the same time. The pain also when on the left side of chest moves over into the left shoulder and upper arm area sometimes. I've also been getting headaches above the left eye and sometimes on the back of the head almost like back head pressure and neck stiffness. Also I've been getting nausea either right before or as the chest or headache pain comes on.
If someone grabs my side or hits me in my left side i almost imediatly go into shock and start to shake from the pain. Another doctor said it could be in my nerves but where the pain is they couldn't test the nerves down there they tested they up near my spin which was normal. I don't know where to go from here.
I my pain stated in the center of my chest then it moved to the upper part of my breast (when i touch my left side of my upper breast the pain travels to the left side), I could not bend down I had to squat very carefully to pick things up. Now the pain is in the left upper side of my breast but it travels to the side under my arm pits towards my back (either m lefiddle leftt\ side and/or center of my back.
It feels like a tightness and sharp pain in the middle and left side of my chest. I also get a racing or slow heart beet and out of breath fast. It hurts off and on throw out the day. It lasts about an hour or two at a time. I have been to the ER twice, they tested me for a blood clot, did ex-rays and an eight. They said they did see nothing wrong and said it was probably brused mucles. I also went to my doctor, all she did was ask questions and said it was mucles stretched.
I have been having extremely short duration stabbing pain (as if with a needle) on the left side of my chest and on the left forearm. The duration lasts maybe a millisecond. The extent of coverage of the pain is only pinpoint area on my chest and forearm. They appear and disappear right at the same time. There is no accompanying tachycardia, shortness of breath, or palpitation. Neither is it associated with heavy physical exertion.
I forgot to mention that the chest pain I'm experiencing is on the right upper side of the chest but slightly closer to the middle, feels like the pain is above the bone.
About 1 yr after finishing rads I started having horrible chest,rib and back pain, Dr put me on gabapintin 800mg 3x day +20mg 3x day oxycotin and 5mg fr oxycodone for breakthru, Ive had 2 bone scans mri ct in the past 2 yrs, my pain still haunts me, I also have a lump on my left side just below ribcage and it goes around to my back near my kidney and about 2 -3 months ago my hands legs feet started getiing tingley and when I wake in the am, my arms are numb, I also have lower back pain.
I am a 26 year old female, and for the last year or so I have had pain on my left side. It started with my ribs feeling tender and bruised, but I have not had any trauma to them. Now for the last 5 months the pain has become worse and mostly constant. Along with new symptoms. Left sided abdominal tenderness that extends to my flank , reflux, and occasional constipation. I do not have insurance and have found it hard to find a doctor willing to let me make payments for visits.
But I still have PVCs form time to time, not every day or all dya, just random periods of time here and there, but they are scary and uncomfortable, and I get left sided chest pain occaisinally which I can pinpoint to the isolated area it hurts at though its different places everytime. And when I lay on my left side I can feel my heartbeat, regular speed / rhyhm but I feel like I shouldnt feel it. I can also feel it and/or hear it in my ear when I lay my head on a pillow.
On Nov 29 I wrote to you about my youngest son (16) who was complaining of chest pain and subsequently of weakness in the left side of his body. I called his pediatrician and she had me take him to the emergency room to have him checked out. After running several tests, including blood test and a Head CT w/contrast. Every test result was normal, but his white blood cells where a little low which the hospital thought might be caused by a slight viral infection.
okay hers the question over the last couple of months once in a while I get a sharp pain under my left chest muscle almost on my side, it only last a second or 2. usually I am siting down.
