He referred me to a cardiologist and he did an ekg and then just pushed it off and said I'm fine. Everyday I have the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> that is like right over my heart and it's like an intermittent pinching pain. It feels like its coming from my heart. What could be causing this??? Today I had it really bad and my left arm started to ache, which it does sometimes with the chest pain, so I checked my b/p at wal-mart on one of those machines and it said 187/97!!!!!
The <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> is on my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> right through my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>heart</span>. I experience spurts of rapid <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>heart</span> beats (especially when I lay on my side) flutters, knifing pain right through the heart, pinching and also I have had a tightening feeling in the center of my chest, like I need to take my bra off. But when I do, it only relieves the pain a little. I have had constant pain in the center of my chest along with some burning from my stomach that traveled to the center of my chest.
For the last few weeks, I have had a <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> in the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> of my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> about 3 inches above my heart. It is fairly constant, but the intensity changes. Sometimes it will go through to my back. Today I woke up and my laft arm and hand are numb. I am a 54-year-old woman with HPB (controlled) and high Cholesteral (also controlled). its been little over a year i been having <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> in my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> (<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span>) right <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>above</span> the nipples. some times i also feel burning kind of pain in my back (Right behind where it hurts from front). Her pelvis is also slightly misaligned on the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> hand <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span>, resulting in an increase in pressure to the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> rib cage. The <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> she experienced was actually a result of her spine being slightly curved. Something that unfortunately was never noticed till now and she's in her late twenties. The spine being curved put pressure on her chest wall, leading to it being inflamed and eventually also some ribs becoming inflamed, which was the severe pain she experienced more recently.
I have <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> on the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> of my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> about 1 inch <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>above</span> the nipple. Sometimes it is really sore, others i only notice it if i push to see if it still hurts. I am worried that it might have somthing to do with an artery or vein or something. It is not a sharp pain or anything but it is always atleast sore deep inside the left side of my chest. I am 46 years old.

I've been experiencing this <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> and <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> arm <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> for about 2 yrs now. It's very localized to one spot on the left side of my chest and doesn't reproduce the pain from pressing in the area. I've seen 4 cardiologist, and 2 cardiologist nurse practioners.
only reason why i bring this up is because I heard that Gas can cause <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span>. It doesn't seem to be happening where my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>heart</span> is at in my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span>, and its not a "crushing" or "tightening" feeling so I am just trying see if its possible that it has nothing to do with my heart. I look forward to see what anyone has to say, Thanks!

I am a 27 year old Caucasian male, and For the past few weeks, I have been having a dull <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> in the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> of my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span>. About 1 inch <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>above</span>, and two inches to the right of my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> nipple. It seems to go away with pressure, but if I release pressure, it returns. The pain comes and goes (sometimes gone for 2-3 days), during rest or activity, and I don't seem to have any other symptoms that happen at the same time.
I have had a severe constant burning <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> in the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> of my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> (front about a inch in from the center) for 14 mths now, I have had all heart tests done by a cardiologist (echo, nuc stress test, cariac cath) and ct scan of chest and lungs everything has checked out ok..CRP blood test showed high level of inflammation,.
I use to get <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> on <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> of the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> very often. The <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> was like a missed heart beat and felt very uneasy and thought definately there is something wrong with my heart. I still get this sometimes with or without any stress out of the blue. From my experience I think if you take anti-depressant it will reduce these chest pain, missed heart beat and palpitation quite a bit as it caused by anxiety disorder. But you should consult a psychiatrist on that.

I am 36 yrs old and for the past hour I have been having a sharp, tight pain on the left <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> of my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>above</span> my breast and the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> goes all the way down my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> arm to my fingers. Both of my parents died of heart attacks, what should I do?
Hello all, I'm 20 years old and for the last few years I have noticed a reoccurring sharp <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> in the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> of my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span>. The <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> lasts only a few seconds at a time and sometimes goes away right after - but sometimes, like today for instance, its been with me for over 12 hours. It is a very uncomfortable feeling even when the sharp pains are not there because any quick movements or change of position can trigger them.

My question is the flutter in my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> just <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>above</span> my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>heart</span> and radiates up the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> of my neck. Here is some history: Thanks Giving of 2011, I had a heart attack and they put in a stet to improve my blood flow.
I keep getting a tightening <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> just <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>above</span> my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> hand <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> of my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span>. I am a smoker, 35 year old mum of 3 children, 10 yrs, 7 yrs and 10 months. The tightening appears if I breath in deeply, but I can feel it slightly when breathing normaly. I'm worried it's major, like something to do with the heart.
Have been in antibiodics for almost 10 days now, there has been no change in the swollen lymph nodes, but about 1 week ago I began having <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>above</span> my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> breast, pretty much radiating throughout the whole <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> of my chest. It is not painful.. more of a dull annoying ache that wont go away. I have been severely stressed out over the past year about my health, and it seems no matter how much I try to calm myself down and not think the worst..
I have a pulling sensation on the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>above</span> my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>heart</span>. It hurts when I reach for something, comb my hair but especially when I bend over. it comes on as a quick pull no pain. I am taking metoprolol that was initially given to me for a fast heart rate due to my thyroid med. being off. My doc adjusted my medication but kept me on metoprolol due to the fact I have severe panic/anxiety disorder and PTSD which keeps my heart within normal range.
i have recenly started getting a sharp <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> in the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> hand <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span> of my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> every now and then after this my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>heart</span> speeds up and beats faster. im looking to find out if anyone has any usefull information that can help me.

I am a 30 year old female and for the past month (mostly this past week) have been having constant <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>pain</span> in my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>chest</span> area (<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>above</span> breast), my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> shoulder, <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> upper back, and some pain into my arm. I had a blood test two weeks ago to check my cardiac enzymes, and the doctor told me they were fine. My heart rate runs in the 80-90 range and my bp runs a little on the high side at 130/90. I am overweight (5'3" and 200 lbs.
Which makes perfect sense because my daughter favors the <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>side</span>, and it's more comfortable carrying her on my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>left</span> side. But I did ask for an EKG and some blood work to get done.
