My girlfriend is having chest pain that feels like a knot, I'm trying to figure out what can help her without going to the hospital because they are trying to scam people. Can anyone be of help???
It is difficult to determine what your symptoms may be caused by, but cardiac chest pain is not typically relieved with belching. Moreover, significant atherosclerotic heart disease in a 27 yo with no significant family history is rare. I would seek attention from your local physician to determine the need for further evaluation.
I am an 18 year old male, and I recently noticed that there is a small knot in my chest under my left nipple. I had noticed that my nipples were dry, but i life weights a lot so I figured they were just raw rubbed by my t-shirt. The dryness has ceased but there is still a little knot. It appeared very quickly, so I am not sure if this is something I should be worried about, or if will clear up on its on as fast as it arrived. Thanks for your help!
Wasn't sure where to post this. About two months ago I started lifting weights and exercising to get back into shape. I am 5'3" and 250lbs. I am not flabby, just heavy. I noticed after a month that my left shoulder was hurting. Now the muscles in my left arm are aching and tingling pretty much all the time. I don't have any other symptoms (shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness etc.) My wife started massaging my shoulder and found a big knot that is very painful.
Fourth, I also developed back pain (the upper back) and everytime I went to take a deep breathe inhaling I could feel the pain in my back like it was a knot, but it was a dull achy pain but very strong to where I couldn't sit down. I always had to stand, and when I went to pick something up from the floor, the pain would move from the back to the pain feeling in the chest as well, and it seems like the knot was moving down to my throat...Just a feeling!!!

This can cause chest pain, shortness of breath or coughing up phlegm tinged with blood. In severe cases it can be fatal. PE can happen hours or even days after the DVT has formed, and may occur when there have been no obvious signs of a DVT. You should seek emergency medical treatment if you have symptoms of PE.
I had a severe case of pnemonia when i was 16 and now being 26 every now and then i get a "knot" feeling in my chest/lung areas. It sometimes last for days and increase pain when I breath but also sometimes I can make it pop when i take a deep breath. It also can increase in pain when I take a deep breath. If your dog has not had a complete series of radiographs (X-Rays) he should. It sounds like more than just a sprain or strain. If it is just his shoulder that it affected it could be dislocation, subluxation, a ligamental tear, or fracture. There could also be nerve damage since the Brachial Plexus comes off the spine at this area.
Every once in a while maybe once a week or 2 weeks, I get a pain in my chest under my right breast that feels like someone is stabbing me. While I'm having this pain, which can last form 30 seconds to up to 3 minutes, there feels like a knot in my chest. It hurts so bad I can hardly breathe. Pain starts in my left top chest goes down my left arm, chest is being crushed arm and hand goes numb, I have a severe pain in my left rear shoulder about 6 inches down and 4 inches out from my spine, there is a knot that is very painful if you push on it in this region maybe 25cm in diameter . They last for between 1 mimute and 5, I have had both endoscope and colonscopy, all ok, chest and barium xrays both ok.
Beth, i have the same symptoms for about 2 months now. I am going in for an endoscopy this week to see if I have GERD. But ya I have the same knot, or pain when I get up. Seems better as i walk around and can feel it when i'm sitting at my desk. My GP told me to lay off working out for 3 weeks, just light 10 minute stuff. So I've been doing stretches to help stretch the chest. Not sure its having much effect. He thinks is muscle related or GERD related.
