chest pain hard to breathe

2 months ago I felt that my cardio fitness was declining and that after about 15 minutes of interval running on the treadmill I would feel chest pain like the one I described earlier. Burning pain in the right chest that would migrate to the left and then to the back. This time it was accompanied with what I think is more sever shortness of breath. I kept going to the gym and it kept happening so much so that I was too scared to do any more exercise.

have had it since last night so went to the ER this am, they did a chest xray, listenened to my chest, did blood work w/heart tests and blood clot test, then did a ct scan w/dye to make sure nothing going on there. I am still having a hard time breathing off and on. When I take a Prilosec, it helps for while. Is this anxiety, or something else. What else could it be and should I be worried? Is it related to my stomach? Could GERD cause this?

Im 38wks as well n sometimes its hard for me to breathe because she hasnt dropped yet n all my organs are smushed together somedays are better than others with how she is positioned n i get awful backpains somedays too ima ftm so idk if what ur goin thru is a sign that labor is near hth

I to notice a shortness in breathe, not hard to breath but definitely laboring more. If I do anything strenuous I loss my breath very easily. Just attribute it to the meds.

s hard to breathe. The pain seems to penetrate my lung and make it hard for me to breathe. Then conversely the seems to be a slight inflammation under my bottom rib on my chest, this causes a sharp but less intense pain than the spot on my back. The two seem to be connected as they happen simultaneously, when I'm in any sort of sitting position and intensify probably three fold after I eat. The only way to alleviate the pain is to lie down on my back, or to stand up.

There is no special treatment for such injuries, except rest for a period of time after the injury, and then moderate exercise for the next few weeks. If he experiences any chest pain it would be adviseable to take him to a physician, but outside of an anti-inflammatory there is no special protocol for treatment. Splinting is contraindicated.

For the last two weeks or so, it has been difficult to breathe and my chest feels constricted. Whenever I lay down and get up and I start walking, my vision goes fuzzy then I see only blackness, and then the blackness gradually goes away within 10-15 seconds. I have been having pains in the left side of the chest for a more than a day.

The pain is severe all around my throat, ears, and upper chest area. It almost feels like someone is squeezing my neck very hard with sharp, sore pain. It does not hurt when I swallow. It also gets worse when I bend down, lay down, or sit. I have tried my inhaler with no relief, TUMS with no relief, and Tylenol with no relief. I have a friend who has one rub that gets stuck, making it hard to breathe. She needs to go to a chiropractor who uses the actuator device (like a special automatic hammer) and tweak the rib back in place and then all is well again.

Hey All, I have had a quad bypass 6mths ago,as most know recovery is slow and i do not help it by trying to speed things up.After 4 mths i had chest pain and abdominal bloating and pain,hard to swallow and breathe,could not get a deep breathe(yawn if i could).Have had more tests than i like and guesses.Pain was so bad i went to ER and was given antibiotics for diverticulitus for a week to see if it helped.No change.

I woke up at about 4 in the morning with horrible chest pain right between my boobs and was up for at least 2 hours. It felt like my breast plate was ripping apart while simultaneously sinking in, making it hard to breathe. I found that it didn't hurt as bad while I was sitting up as it did when I was lying down. Googled it and it seems to be either heartburn from hell or my rib cage expanding to make room for the baby and organs. Has anyone else experienced this??

Yes I take tums for heartburn but I dont like to over do it but its so hard trying to rest and its like the shortness of breath..like ill have to sit up just to breath at times..
