Do you also have congestion, hard to get air through your nose, both nostrils? If yes, does a anti congestion nose spray help - if yes that may mean the membranes are swollen due to an infection. I am no expert here, but as I explain below I have reason to research. I have trouble breathing through my nose when lying down, and when that happens I get into panic mode if it wakes me up, feel like I am suffocating. I do not have an pain, one of the symptoms of an infection.

What it feels like is the chronic post nasal drip I have has caused congestion in my upper chest. However, the weird part is, I really have no cough, and the occasional cough has never brought anything up. In the past, if my chest begins to feel this way, it is followed by the painful cough and coughing stuff up. I would not call what I have sometimes as pain, it feels more like irritation. I too have difficulty yawning,I start to yawn and can't complete it,it just shuts down and I feel like I can't take a deep breath.sometimes chest and back pain, It takes me 2 or 3 trys to complete a yawn. For the past 2 weeks I have had some difficulty breathing, excessive yawning and burping. I feel like I can't get enough air in with each breath. Another possibility that can explain the pain is pericarditis. It causes chest pain aggravated by laughing yawning and deep breathing and also causes radiation of pain to arms. Again an EKG, heat echo and chest X-ray is required. Do consult a doctor and get this examined. Take care!

Hi im jubert 27y male. Im having a trouble of lesf chest pain while yawning and deep breathing. I already go to ER and have ECG, X-ray, blood test. And doctor sai i have a high uric acid. But already 3 days until now was hurting my chest. Im taking relaxon 3 time a day and tabiflix cool 2 times a day and its already 3 days and still have chest pain while deep breath and yawning.
