At about 6 dpo I had sinus congestion which is now only in the am but now at about 7 or 8 dpo I starting itching like crazy. I itch on my back, chest, stomach, arms, neck, pretty much everywhere. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this this early in pregnancy. I have NOT changed anything in my life that would cause this. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
No it seems pretty normal. I get a stuffy nose and I sneeze all the time every night while I'm in bed. It's weird but I've read about it just being a pregnancy symptom due to changing hormones. If it's that bad bring it up to your doctor and they can suggest something.
What it feels like is the chronic post nasal drip I have has caused congestion in my upper chest. However, the weird part is, I really have no cough, and the occasional cough has never brought anything up. In the past, if my chest begins to feel this way, it is followed by the painful cough and coughing stuff up. I would not call what I have sometimes as pain, it feels more like irritation. When I am active, as well as when I drink a lot of water, it seems to be much better.
For about a year now I have had a cough and chest congestion, my doctor has switched my asthma medications several times thinking that might be the reason for my cough and congestion, she's tried many different types of allery medications, I have been to the pulmonologist, had a chest x-ray and nothing was found, but the cough and congestion I still have.
I have severe chest congestion. This has been going on for about 3 months. It's strange because I will have constant congestion and cough one day and the next day I will be almost clear. I know that if I have congestion one day the next day I will not. I plan my days accordingly. My dr. has put me on antiboitics and presidone twice in the last 3 months, I've had a chest x-ray last week, shows nothing. I have had allergies all my life.
I have this tightness in my chest i kno its mucus but i dont have a cough or cold it hurts when i try to take a deep breath ive never had chest congestion before im not coughing up blood or anything like that. ive been using my asthma pump because when i was younger i had trouble with asthma it helps clearing my airways so i can breath easier but it comes back after awhile. Help?

A clinical examination and work up is important for correct diagnosis and management.Fever, chest pain and congestion can be due to an infection like pneumonia. High fever can be a symptom of infection or septicaemia.Hypotension, hypovolaemia, angina all can cause chest pain. Since she is unable to walk a portable X-ray chest may be helpful. Blood tests and blood culture may be helpful.
I only have coffee at breakfast and have limited my alcohol intake to only weekends and in moderation then. I do not have heartburn, but have had a continuing chest congestion which is normally only a bother. I have taken omeprazole twice aday which seems to control every symptom except the chest congestion. About once a year it becomes a serious bronchitis for which I have been prescribed levaquin, which works well. I have perused the internet and read many articles about LPR.

How long can I expect this to last/what have others experienced? Also nasal congestion and pressure, is this too a residual part of withdrawal?
severe head congestion, tired, tight chest. It started with a sore throat. Apparently it is a virus that is going around. I hope it goes as fast as it comes because I have already taken off two days of work. I have asthma so these things tend to make me feel worse than others.
My doctor told me I can take robitussin DM for my cold. Is robitussin cough+Chest congestion DM the same thing?
Xray for the sinus and chest were also ordered which resulted to bilateral nasal congestion and clear chest. The problem is, I have been experiencing symptom of dizziness. Its been a month now and I could not take it anymore. As if I am floating always. Please, could you help me with my concern?. . Thank you in advance.
I just moved to Denver from Chicago. Right before we left, I could tell I had a sinus infection, as I have a long history of sinus issues. I also have stomach issues, history of a couple ulcers. A couple of ENT's have told me I have obvious signs of GERD, though I don't often have indigestion, sometimes I can taste acid in the morning. Anyway, I saw a doc when I arrived in Denver and she gave me Biaxin for the sinus infection. Only it doesn't seem to have cleared up.

So, just finished week # 5 of the SAGA...ugh.
1. My voice is BACK...no problems there.
2. Other than coughing 3 maybe 4 times without trying/doing it on purpose, I only cough now when I "tell" myself to do so (make a conscious effort).
I make this effort because....
My question is the the last 3 months as I am laying down for a while I get a gurggle feeling in my chest and it almost feels like congestion so I make a cough to see if that would help and I have no congestion at all and the cough doesnt help. When I stand for a minute is when it will go away.
Can you please tell me what this means or if I should go get a 2nd opinion??? Heart related issues runs on my mother side of the family and just about everyone has an issue.
Though this is not listed as a common symptom this is the second time I have had this symptom in weeks 5-6 of pregnancy. Anyone else experience this?
2 days later (5 days after the stint) my tongue began to feel burnt (rough), accompanied with a seriously bad sore throat, nasal congestion, and the urge to sneeze. I also noticed very small red dots on the backs of my hands (vesicles?), and pain under my ears and on the backs of my hands. Moving forward up until now, I developed severe congestion that drains down my throat, irritating it further. I still have cold-chills and feel very sickly (achy and feel crappy).
May any of this be side effects of lavoquin or his chest congestion, which now im questioning if it is a congestion anymore. How can you decipher chest pain from chest congestion vs.
