I don't know what you are allowed to take when you are pregnant, pharmaceutical or otherwise... but I'd suggest making sure you eat well, stay hydrated. Maybe run a hot shower for a while then go outside in the cold (like when babies have croup---gives some relief). I've heard oil of oregano or eucalyptus oil, a few drops in boiling water, your head with a towel over it and you inhale, can help with phlegm.

Taking a deep breath isnt really difficult and I dont feel short of breath but I definitely seem to feel discomfort in my chest similar to a chest cold

My chest x ray results found out that there are haziness on my left middle lung which resulted to Pulmonary Tuberculosis (PTB) vs Pneumonia. What does it mean? Last week, I went to my primary care doctor last week after 3 weeks of cough/congestion. She sent me for chest xrays and started me on Albuterol inhaler, ZPak antibiotic (Azithromycin) for 5 days and mucinex. The xrays came back negative for pneumonia but indicated lungs were minimally hyperinflated. I've never smoked. I feel a bit better but still have the cough.(4 weeks now). Would Erythromycin be a better antibiotic to stop this cough?

But there are also viral, fungal, or less commonly parasitic causes of pneumonia.

I have had a chest, sinus cold going on four weeks now with intermittent laryngitis. I have been on a course of Levaquin 2 weeks ago and am still sick. Prior to this cold I had another cold and was on a Z pac, can't seem to get any better... Never had a fever, just productive cough raising green phlegm.. Should I be working about my immune system at this point?

You must need go back special doctor for your cold and fever. You xray chest and also do a lung function test to check for asthmatic problems. Best of luck!

So recently I've had a cough, I also have ashtma and have to take a brown inhaler. I'm really paranoid about pneumonia and chest infections. I can't tell what is an ashtma cough, just a general cough from a cold or something worse.

What you describe sounds serious; maybe a “chest cold” or bronchitis or maybe even pneumonia. YOu could easily have a lung infection of sorts. You need to see a doctor who will examine you properly and order appropriate tests if necessary especially because you are running temps and having colored sputum. Maybe you need antibiotics. I hope you feel better soon.
