As some of you might have read on my other post regarding a new kitten that came to our porch (btw, Patches seems to be getting a long w/ him just a tab bit better...still tries to attack him & growls but not as much). Well the male kitten makes strange breathing noises when he's awake. It somewhat sounds like he's snoring but it isnt that. He's bright awake and you can hear these noises. It's like he maybe has difficulties breathing.

Noticed few weeks into Dec that when I would walk a distance, that my chest would burn-like when you breathe in cold cold air. Well, its cold-cold here, so I figured that was it. It continued. The cough went away. Saw my reg Dr on 12/21..a month after I had gotten the flu. She did EKG..looked great. Said Pleurisy..and prescribed Ibuprofin. I suffered thru the holidays..totally ruined them-anytime I would walk even from room to room my chest would burn!
I am 42 and for the last 2 years have had a very persistant cough when I lay down, accompanied by weird throat noises that I cannot control. If I am walking around the throat noises do not happen, but I do cough a good amount. The coughing began 1st and I went to the Dr. who told me I had allergies and post-nasal drip, and perscribed a nasal spray. This did nothing to help.
When I lay on either side, I feel like there is fluid in my chest and I have to continually cough.
You need to take him to the vet as soon as you can. It is not good when you can hear any noises from the chest especially from that far away. Your cat is obviously in pain. This is not something you can fix on your own.
You say it sounds like cellophane which to me sounds like a crackling noise. In crackling noises in the lungs point to fluid in the lungs. Any lung or upper respiratory problems in felines progress rapidly and can do serious damage. Again, please take to the vet.
Hi there, i suddenly came down ill with something some weeks back, i was just sat down eating my dinner (pasta) and suddenly this really ill feeling came over me.. i had no coughing, cold or any sort of typical respiratory infection symptoms you would expect with a typical virus.
However i had ice cold legs.. my arm started shaking and sudden weakness in my arms and legs, my legs started wobbling like crazy when i tried to stand..
I have had the same symptoms as you, but with a few others to go along with them. Mine, too, started with a spring cold and chest conjestion. I had sharp pains in the ears and the throat glands that connect to the inner ears. I have crackling when I swallow and it feels like there is fluid on my ears from time to time. My ears are still tender and sore for most of the time. I have taken nasal decongestants and antihisamines.
I have had twitching and about year or so ago it feels as though my head is draining liquid that goes into my throat and then i feel something in my chest right after it. As if i am catching a cold. It gets really worst in cold. All of these symptoms become SEVERE right after my period and before my period. I have gone to Neurologist and got an MRI done two times. One time i had it done with braces and the second time i had it done last year without braces.
A few years ago I was diagnosed with a multnodular goitre I have not been having any problems but recently I have been having noises and wheezing from my throat when I lie down do you think this could be connected to the goitre I am seeing my dr tomorrow he has already down a chest xray I am waiting the results of this
After a sudden miscarriage (10 weeks) my wife has the feeling of a great coldness throughout all her bones and joints (even the bones of the face), she needs to wear a lot of clothes to get her body warmer and despite of that the coldness sensation remains higher each day. She has some difficulties to speak (because the feeling of coldness is also in her teeths) and she has also some violent headaches (loud noises make some pain to her ears).
Hi I'm 13 and I have experienced depression, saw wavy lines and things moving, heard a voice 2 months ago (couldn't get to sleep because of it), trouble sleeping, bad chest (cramps in chest), hear buzzing noises sometimes. Also sometimes i jump up and flap my wrists or normally i fiddle with my fingers and play with my fingers behind my head and on my face. I've been having noises that seem to be coming from behind my neck. It sounds like the way the stomach often growls but higher pitched or like when you try popping candy but not as loud yet still irritating. The weird thing about it is that it occurs when I don't move my neck. I notice this when I lie at bed and is quite frequent throughout the day and is random. I've also been having spasms and pain in the neck. I've had an MRI of the neck with no sign of any problem.

The chest pain on coughing and exposure to cold can also be due to irritation of the nerves of the chest on coughing and are normally present in any of the above conditions.
I feel that for all your above symptoms ,you need to consult a physician/sleep specialist and discuss these possibilities with him.Also take iron supplements and multivitamins for some days.

I've been having chest pain, just below breast in center of my chest, accompanied by gas, a full feeling, and a feeling of constipation (although I do not seem constipated). Occassionally there is also pain around my rib cage into my back. And my stomach sometimes hurts and makes odd noises. Also, sometimes I feel as though I need to vomit, but never do. Any ideas what might be causing it?
