Anyone else have cold lungs wired feeling I. Thier chest & reicuribg cough esp if you move your neck a certain way ?
I saw the doc and she gave me Amoxycillin for 7 days. It then eased but worked its way down to my chest and had l some build up of fluid in the lungs and as a result i was constantly coughing and trying to get it out. It has been going on now for over 7 weeks and will not completely go. It seems to clear up up but every time I get out to exercise it returns. Any ideas of how to get rid of it.

If u wear long jons or leggings under pants an always keep a scarf around your neck n skull cap n keep your feet warm if you live were it get cold like me or just in air conditioned places it'll help emesely! I moved to Wellington New Zealand in October and a couple of weeks later I developed a lung irritation, post nasal drip and productive-with-phlegm cough. I went to the doctor with these symptoms and chest pain etc. Antibiotics did not work so i was prescribed som ventolin for my cough attacks and strong anti-histamines as Wellington is known for it's high pollen count. These did not really help.
I went to sea for 5 days over the new year my symptoms completely cleared.
Anyone else dealing with a sever cold? Im 33 weeks tomorrow and have been sick and feeling so miserable. My poor baby is probably tired of me coughing up my lungs. Any suggestions on home remedies besides tea?

My 8 year old has had a croupy sounding cough for 3 months, with NO other cold symptoms. She doesn't ususally cough, but when she does, it sounds like a barking seal. For the last two weeks I have been having this really bad cough. It hurts in my chest when I cough and feels almost like I am trying to cough up a lung. And now my nose is starting to be runny and there is a lot of mucus that is now draining into my throat making it feel worse, and really sore. Is there any way to get rid of it?

So my dad caught the cold and got me sick. At first I had a sore throat and then later congestion in chest and nose. I feel like its getting worse now(its been a week); it's getting harder to breathe usually in the morning or at night, I took all kinds of medicine to get rid of mucus but it doesn't come out barely, and now the left side of my throat is hurting. For about the past week, I have noticed that when I walk a distance, and not that far, just from my car to my desk, etc ( its like half a block) IN THE COLD..that when I get done, my chest BURNS...and I feel slightly short of breath. If this is the flu or a flu-like viral illness, the other symptoms should start to subside very soon. That your lungs were “clear” makes the feeling of “someone pouring hot water on my chest when I breathe” less worrisome, but if this is still bothering you when you receive this response, you should have the walk-in clinic staff re-examine your lungs and take a chest x-ray.
What you describe does not suggest something “more serious than a virus”.

Hi had a cough following a cold for about 6 weeks , I’ve also got this pain in my lower back left side just below my rib cage so I would said waist height , could this be related to my lungs but I thought the lungs were higher up?
