Had 4 rounds of taxotere, carboplatin and a year of Herceptin, entered a drug study taking Zometa, (to prevent cancer from coming back as bone cancer), had a second, elective mastectomy, decided against reconstruction, and am actively and happily living life with a flat chest (no prostheses.) They gave me a nebulizer treatment at the office, then gave me an inhaler. Now that I am home the chest pain is more severe and radiating in to my back and throat. When I cough, swollow or try to burp it is EXCRUTIATING! I called the oncall doctor back and was told to take some mylanta and was prescribed a cough syrup with codeine. My husband is on his way home with the codeine, but the mylanta and the inhaler are not helping with the extreme chest pain.

So my dad caught the cold and got me sick. At first I had a sore throat and then later congestion in chest and nose. I feel like its getting worse now(its been a week); it's getting harder to breathe usually in the morning or at night, I took all kinds of medicine to get rid of mucus but it doesn't come out barely, and now the left side of my throat is hurting. Is this a regular cold getting worse or something else?

All my life I have occasionally gotten my own version of an ice cream headache – only mine occurs in my chest (I have never had the headache version). Two days ago, around 5pm while drinking a frozen slushy drink, I had two of the chest version which were very uncomfortable and after the second I noticed that there was a “fluttering” feeling in my chest.

I also get a really wierd feeling of the blood running cold on the inside of both my ankles. It happens both when im warm and cold or when I wear shoes or barefoot. Any idea why this happens??
