Avatar m tn You must need go back special doctor for your cold and fever. You xray chest and also do a lung function test to check for asthmatic problems. Best of luck!
Avatar f tn You can exercise indoors when you are cold. It will probably warm you more than anything else. I was unusually cold this winter. It was really tough to get motivated, but it was helpful to exercise because it did warm me up for a while and make me feel less lethargic. Put on some dance music and dance, maybe with friends.
Avatar f tn After my nuclear stress test came back equivocal my doctor said he would only order more tests if I developed classic angina symptoms --- pain or pressure consistently with exercise, emotion, and after eating. I don't know if this qualifies. Yesterday I was feeling well for the first time in a few weeks and decided to go for a brisk walk on a hilly trail. The park is about 30 minutes away by car. I started getting vague chest pains along the way driving.
Avatar f tn Last night i had a little cold nose was just running with a cough now i woke up this morning my body hot im cold sore throat nose wont stop running chest is killing me anything i cold take or do cause this is killing me my 2nd cold but the other one wasnt this bad
Avatar m tn The best way to describe it would be that there is a dull pain in the center of my chest, and in my throat it is cold and feels like something small is in my throat, a lump in my throat. I can breathe normally, there is no loss of air or lung capacity, just a lump in the throat. The pain in the chest is dull, and it is noticable that my heart is beating. All of this lasts only about 10 or 15 seconds, and then the pain and discomfort goes away completely.
Avatar f tn I went for a jog for the first time in a while and struggled to get through as was out of breath quite quickly. Anyway I had continued movement for 35min (jog, walk, sprint). When I stopped I noticed a sharp pain in my rib area just at the base of my pec muscle. 5 days have now past and it's getting worse and is very sensitive to touch and any movement in the area is extremely painful. I've just had some symptoms of a cold today with sore throat, slight fever & cough.
18524847 tn?1465595901 Lifting light weights is a good idea too and once you have the baby if you nurse, definitely do some chest flies and chest lifts with light weights to help with the breast tissue which is known to break down with breast feeding (saggy breasts are the result). luck to all!
1953268 tn?1454815040 ve described here, and insist on having a chest exam. Green mucus can be a sign of infection. Chest pain should never be ignored, and should definitely be looked at by a physician in order to rule out any thing serious. Years ago, I had symptoms much like yours, but I chose to skip the doctors visit and stay home. It turned out that I had bronchitis, then developed pneumonia.
Avatar n tn t anything painful, just uncomfortable, and I assumed that I was developing some congestion due to a cold. 2 weeks later, I still have the pressure in my chest, but I never developed a cough or fever or anything else that I would associate with a common sickness. It seems to get worse when I do have to walk up stairs or exert myself, but it never goes away even when I have been resting for several hours. This morning I was almost late to a class so I was out of breath when I got there.
Avatar n tn Lately, as in the past week or so, whenever I have a cigarette I feel as though I am exhaling too much, and can feel a cold dull feeling washing over the left side of my chest. Is this my lung, my heart, perhaps just the muscle? I do not excersize too often, rarely in fact. My girlfriend was recently in the hospital for a heart issue, where they did an ablasion due to an extra pathway that was causing her heart to get up to 200 beats a minute.
Avatar f tn I also get a really wierd feeling of the blood running cold on the inside of both my ankles. It happens both when im warm and cold or when I wear shoes or barefoot. Any idea why this happens??
Avatar f tn PVCs usually stay away or at least reduce in amount during aerobic exercise. PACs and supraventricular arrhythmias are far more likely to happen both with aerobic exercise and adrenaline rush. Some skipped beats is something everyone may experience after stress/exercise/adrenaline rush, but your fainting is concerning.
Avatar f tn After I exercise I have a sharp pain in my chest. It can occur either minutes after exercise or hours. Its a sharp pain usually on my left or right side of my chest and it hurts worse when I breathe and when I turn my body to the side. It usually goes away within seconds but during the pain I try to keep still to minimize the pain. I have gotten x-rays and some other type of test but Doctors say my heart is fine. This has been happening for several years and I am now 20 years old.
Avatar n tn Hi It seems you are having hives with cold and physical stress/exercise acting as the trigger factor. Itchy red blotchy skin on exercise may be due to a condition called Exercise urticaria characterized by itching, or hives on the legs, arms, chest or neck during or after exercise. You should consult a doctor for a proper diagnosis.
Avatar n tn 1) Rest and avoid the use of the muscles in the chest with lifting or exercise; 2) Ice- you can try cold compress for the pain; 3) Compression- for those with swelling and 4) elevation - whole upper part of the body may be elevated gently with pillows or a reclining chair. However, if the pain persists, it would be best to see your doctor for proper evaluation. He may order a chest x-ray to make sure that there are no broken bones present or lung condition such as pneumonia or pneumothorax.
Avatar m tn I’m a 38 year old male and have been experiencing exercise induced chest pain for the last four years. The pain generally begins with sudden exertion (running for a bus) or mild exertion that’s gradually increased (moving from the easy part of an elliptical trainer routine to the really hard part). I’ve noticed that the pain usually hits at about 145-150 heart beats per minute. The pain manifests in the upper left quadrant of my chest.

Avatar f tn I typically walk on the tread mill for two miles. Do arms and chest then the next day do treadmill and then legs and butt. Break the third day and start the routine over. I was doing pole , floor/chair, & stretch classes and gym before pregnancy up until my second trimester. But due to schedule conflicts I stopped the pole.
Avatar f tn Winter is comming soon, so what is a good way for my child that is 6 to get exercise in a fun way?
Avatar n tn I'm 35 weeks and I use the stationary cycles at the gym. I also walk, do light arm, chest and back workouts with weights (no more than 25 pounds), and though I haven't done it I've heard swimming is great. You'll know if you're over doing it.
Avatar n tn I layed down to see if it would stop and it continued and spread to my chest. The pressure seemed to increase as I inhaled. I then started to feel neauseous and broke out into a cold sweat. This lasted for about 30 minutes. I went to the er and they did an EKG which showed an irregularity. They admitted me and did an echocariogram and later, an angiogram, which showed no problems with any of the vessels. The cardiologist did say that my heart went into a spasm during the test.
Avatar f tn I am 35 and have chest pain, arm and leg pains. I am back and forth to the ER and family practice only to hear I have anxiety and acid reflux. I often get knots in my right chest and then heavy feelings of pressure and tightness. I have a hard time swallowing at times as well.
Avatar m tn physical urticaria, food plays hardly any role as an eliciting agent with the exception of ice-cold drinks in cold urticaria. By contrast, exercise-induced anaphylaxis is frequently food-dependent. Two subtypes are distinguished: unspecific food-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis (FDEIA), where the filling of the stomach independently of the kind of food ingested prior to exercise is responsible for the symptoms.
