and not been treated correctly? well i have these acne looking bumps covering my chest. i also have them between my shoulder blades along the spine. the bumps are running along my clavicle (color bone if i used the wrong term) what are they? and are the permant? and also if i should either see a dermatologist or just keep the area clean.
I have suffered a similar adult acne story as Sean who posted 7th Sept 1999. I am 25 years old Female. I had typical acne from an early age (11 years old) and received Roacutane (same as Accutane I think) when I was 15 years old. It worked a treat but 9months after I had finished treatment the acne returned. Over the years I have been on 3 treatments of Roacutane for about 18months each with the same result about 9 months later.
Did anybody else get extremely bad acne on their shoulders and shoulder blades?? I have been having such bad acne to the point where I don't like wearing tank tops now!!! How do I stop it???
t start till June I can go to class next quarter Yahoo. Even if USC changes my mind about who does it I can still push it off till summer. I can't stay home I just can't.
I walked to the library without stopping and back (with a bathroom break and grabbed a couple of books inbetween) with the walker. I wasn't able to do it without stopping a lot 2 weeks ago. Yahoo. Oh and I started PT exercises on Thursday. It went well. I'm still working on getting off the walker.
Has anyone had any bad breakouts while being pregnant?? Normally I get bad breakouts around my period, but haven't. Only odd thing is ive noticed breakouts on my chest area & usually I breakout on my face.
Hi well I've had alot of butt acne nd acne close to my chest lately and on my face too for a while now I was wondering if anyone could tell me a good dermatologist or doctor recommended product i can use to get rid of body acne.
ve suffered with acne pretty much my whole life, and it FINALLY started to go away and then I got pregnant -.- now it's worse then ever! Getting it on my chest and upper back and my face and underneath my chin. Anyone have any suggestions? My face is just super oily all the time! Thanks ladies!
Ive had this bump for a while now i used to have chest acne most of it has gone away but one is bigger than acne, the skin is sorta reddish around the area and in the middle it just looks like raised skin its not really a whiteish color. It has no pain to it even if i try to pop it or scratch right in the middle. When i push it in nothing happens either. Dosent change color when i try to pop it either. I got it around the same exact time i was developing acne on my chest.
I have been suffering from a peculiar rash on my upper chest for about a year and a half.
Initially i thought it was acne (as i had suffered from this on my face), however it looks more like a rash, almost like hives in apperance, and does not respond to acne medication.
It is made up of several red bumps about 1mm in length.
They occur prodominatly on my chest. I went to the doctor when i first got this problem and was prescribed some antibiotics and some aqeous cream.
So, I have had these chest 'acne' bumps for a long time. Each one grows and stays, not a single one had receeded, at firs they look like normal chest acne, then they grow bigger and bigger, very slowly. Had them for at least 2 years now on chest and back. Face is clear of acne (mostly)
the acne is permanent, never receeds, but are never painful, even when squeezed, no itch, nothing, but they are red.
About a year ago, I developed a RASH on my chest that is similar looking to acne in that it has red spots with tiny, very superficial white heads. Since this was the first rash breakout I mistook it for acne and used an acne spot treatment (benzyl peroxide 2.5%) The next morning my skin was itchy and extremely irritated, and I realized it was a rash and not pimples and the benzyl peroxide irritated it a lot. I then used calamine and benedryl topical lotion with little results.
isotretinoin also known as Accutane, can be prescribed by a doctor, or contraceptive pills with cyproterone for females with virilization or drospirenone.

Pimples on the chest and shoulders are usually acne. I don't know why you're worried about MRSA, and don't see why you should be. I advise you to cleanse with benzoyl peroxide--available without prescription--and that you consult a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
