I have bumps across my body which I believe to be from shaving, they appear to be small somewhat round and slightly raised soft bumps. These bumps occur around my chest-stomach, and pubic area. These bumps have persisted for months, and I believe shortly after said bumps appeared I was picking at them, under the assumption that they were simple acne.
Normally after a day of shaving I get pink inflammatory spots, after around 2 day the inflammation is gone and after about 3-4 days the spots will go away. The problem is that since my sexual contact I've been getting these each time after shaving. Shouldn't be ingrown hair as I have never had this problem in the past.
The itchy spots on my upper arms and forehead are I believe as a result of the side effect to Duac cream, I get less than before though.
I have had acne since the 7th grade it is all over my face, chest and back but when it comes to the pubic region I have no clue wheather they are blisters or pimples. These bumbs on my penius and surrounding area dont inch to much and are not painful and when they are I am wondering if i am so worried about them being some rather than herpes that my mind is just making them ich and what not.
Hello I am 18yo male. For a couple years now I have had nodulocystic acne all over my face, chest and back and it is spreading down slowly. At the same time I also have chronic dermatitis which causes scaling, dry, itchy skin all over my face and back. It stings, burns, itches constantly, and acne lesions crust and bleed. My skin has also become extremely weak and sensitive and reacts to everything.

I had a sexual encounter with a man of unknown status . Earlier that evening I had shaved , and I have a lot of acne and shaving usualy opens those up and some of them bleed and flare up.
The man pulled out and finished on my face , which I wasn't expecting. I quickly went to the bathroom to clean up. As I was wiping my face with a towel, I noticed some of the acne were red with spots of blood.
I got these ances on October 2012, since I put Bio oil on my face after shaving, in order to remove a tiny acne scar, although my skin on the face got 1 or 2 little wounds after shaving. At the beginning, I felt my skin was burning after I put Bio oil on my face. 1 day later, ances occurred and my skin itched. I went to see a doctor. He said my skin is very healthy, I was afraid that I was allergic. The symptom(acne) is still there.

how about the risk of makign out vigorously with another guy who may have a shaving cut? could that kinda cheek rubbing make those cuts or acne pop open?

At a young age I started shaving w/ out telling anyone because afraid that I should not be. Well i would shave my bikini line and lower stomach w/ razors. I received of course razor bumps but just thought they would go away. Well here I am 29 years old and I hate getting naked w/ my boyfriend because of these bumps. My question is there a way to get rid of these bumps after having them for so many years or am I stuck w/ this for life? If I am stuck w/ these bumps cant I get the shin replaced?
After a couple of years of enduring the painful process of shaving, I have decided that I can no longer cope with it. I have been off of accutane for about six months and it made my skin a nightmare. Thankfully, it cleared up my skin and I no longer get pimples although it has made my skin very irritated from shaving. I first started shaving with an regular razor, but my dermatologist told my to switch to an electric razor because my skin was being ruined.
He was wiping the shaving gel off the blade all the time so assume he wiped it after this. The trouble is that I was having an acne outbreak on the back of my neck that he would have shaved over. There didn't seem to be any visible bleeding from my acne. Unfortunately I think I already know what your answer will be, but is there any Hep C risk involved in what happened? ve always had bad acne, some weight issues, depression and excessive hair growth, but I never knew what it was until now. I'm fair skinned, and my hair is thick and black and there is so much of it! I'm so embarrassed by it. I could shave in the morning and come back home after school and shave again. I experience minor acne on my face, but nowhere else until recently. Last year I began shaving my armpits and soon after got minor acne (for lack of a better word. you know how acne looks like after it has been "popped" and not been treated correctly? well i have these acne looking bumps covering my chest. i also have them between my shoulder blades along the spine. the bumps are running along my clavicle (color bone if i used the wrong term) what are they? and are the permant? and also if i should either see a dermatologist or just keep the area clean.
I never wanted to really speak openly about my acne but after reading Sean and your story i want to warn all future accutane users to realize this is not a 100% quick fix also to realize the side affects of Roacutane (accutane). i have had acne since i was 12 I was put on this medication when i was 14 and am now 23 still with acne yes accutane will problably make your skin look the best it ever has, if you are lucky for a long time.
I have a problem with my face after shaving. I have really course facial hair. This problem only happens on my cheeks, not my chin or mustache. A day or two after shaving I notice that I have anywhere from 10-20 small spots on my cheeks that look like blackheads, but are not. The longer I go without shaving the more obvious these small black spots are. Some of them get irritated immediately, some don't for months. I break the skin to dig out what ends up being facial hair.
I have put some over the counter acne medicine on my chest to see if it was pimples I put Clearasil stayclear on which is a white medication that is over the counter and it really dries out the skin. It sort of seems to be working on the top of my chest. It is also in the middle of my breasts and on my breast I am not sure if it is acne or not. They are red/pink bumps with some white heads on it. Could it be because it is hot and summer time and I am getting more acne then usual?
Statistically, you have oral hsv1 - about half of adults in the US do, 2/3 globally. 90% will never get a cold sore, or at least don't remember getting one. Most people with hsv1 are infected as kids, usually when an adult kisses them.
That said, you do have something going on, but it doesn't sound like herpes. Have you ever had those looked at? Ghsv1 rarely recurs. Many people get an initial outbreak, and then never get another one.
Figuring it was just from shaving last night no worries. When I when to scratch It, I thought it might have been a bug bite. Just wasn't normal. So Went to check it out and noticed a small singular hole/divot on the middle/top of my penis. Looks similar to an acne scar. Other than itch slightly there are no signs of pain or irritation, there are no fluids coming out nor any abnormal discoloring. Did some research but definitely more freaked out than relieved.
