Common Questions and Answers about Chances of miscarriage at nine weeks

miscarriage

Avatar f tn I spotted at 5 weeks, thought it was nothing, but at 16 weeks found out it was something serious. Most of the time though spotting/light bleeding is normal.
Avatar n tn Unfortunately, miscarriages do happen to approx one out of five pregnancies, whether or not they occur naturally or as a result of IVF or other fertility treatment. Thus, chances of a second miscarriage are in the 20% range. If you have good quality frozen embryos, you might want to consider that route, or another fresh cycle. I am very optimistic that your chances for a healthy pregnancy are good, based on your age and your response during your IVF cycle in the past. Good luck!
Avatar f tn Well That's very true chances of miscarriage is high During the first trimester. That's why I worried my whole trimester im 20 weeks now and im at ease a little bit.
Avatar f tn I'm 7.5 weeks along. I miscarried 4 and a half years ago at 4 weeks and this is our first time getting pregnant since! We saw the heartbeat already and it was 144! What are the chances or mis carrying after you've seen the heart beat? I've had no spotting or anything. I've had morning sickness and very mild cramping.
Avatar m tn Yes you need to obtain your conclusive test result.

5989379 tn?1377918827 if ive passed nine weeks the chances of me having a miscarrage drops to only 3 percent so when the ob told me i was 7w6d i kind of freaked out cause i thought i was already passed that point.
Avatar n tn It was curious the chances of miscarriage at 15 weeks.. I worry all the time and wanna make sure my baby is still alive and kicking. I need to put my worries to rest. Thank you!
Avatar f tn I am now almost 18 weeks. What do you think the chances of having a miscarriage are between when I heard the heartbeat until now? Or a missed miscarriage? I have had no bad cramping, no spotting or bleeding, no bad lower backaches. And I have never had any symptoms this whole pregnancy. So are the chances low since I heard the heartbeat at 15 weeks. It was loud and sounded good to me but I'm sill worried. First time mommy here I'm 18 years old too.
2001997 tn?1333888744 m 26 and nine weeks pregnant, as is I feel like throwing up, I have also been spotting but the Doc told me not to worry, he gave me some medication to stop the spotting...
9941879 tn?1406844458 Think positive!!! Geesh!! Pray and make a connection with ur child that let them know its ok... All this negative thinking and stress.. YOU will cause ur self to miscarry ..
Avatar f tn I am now 12 weeks and barely showing like very very very tiny only can tell if I'm naked but once you see a heartbeat chances of m/c are very slim and at nine weeks chances drop even more. At 11wks my OB said chances of m/c were less than one percent. Hang in there!
Avatar f tn I'm 11weeks 2days, yesterday I had my first early scan due to stomach cramps. It was really emotional.. Saw the baby wiggling about and it waved, we saw its heart beating too! Im still worried about miscarrying as i'm not over the 12week mark just yet.. What are the chances of a miscarriage after seeing your baby on an ultrasound??
1409527 tn?1281538535 She might have meant the growth was only 7 weeks. If you go based off of LMP, you're adding two weeks onto your baby, so at 9 weeks the fetus itself is only 7 weeks.
362119 tn?1223137936 My sister saw the heartbeat at 8 weeks with her first, then miscarried at 12 weeks. With this past miscarriage she was 11w4d and had yet to have a U/S, so she did not hear or see the heartbeat. They told her the baby stopped growing at 9 weeks. If you saw the baby at 11 weeks, then I do not think that you have anything to worry about. Have you looked up the stats on miscarriage after 11 weeks?
301354 tn?1211810520 So, my question is, should I conceive this month, what are my chances of having another miscarriage? Has anyone conceived and carried a pregnancy so soon after miscarriage and surgery? Thanks.
547512 tn?1273245025 hi to everybody. I just posted a question in the wrong place. I am not very good with computers. anyway. I had a miscarriage ten days ago. I was 8 weeks pregnant . the doctor did the scan and he couldn't feel the beat. The baby stopped developing at 6 weeks. i am very sad about it. I had a lot of hope and it was my first pregnancy and I wasn't really aware of the dangers of the first three months.

Avatar n tn Miscarriages are more common than people think. As a matter of fact, about 25 percent of women who become pregnant have a miscarriage at some point in their life. It can even happen early enough that the woman never knows she was pregnant. Between 15 and 20 percent of all diagnosed pregnancies end in a miscarriage in the first or early second trimester. Chance chromosomal errors that occur while the embryo is first developing are the chief causes of most first trimester miscarriages.
1303567 tn?1273720124 I'm so sorry about your three previous losses. There's nothing anyone can ever say to make it better, I know. I've had two, myself, and it's an awful thing. I understand the worry. I didn't want to buy anything for this pregnancy because the first time (after having two normal pregnancies and babies) I went out and got books and clothes right away and m/c 3 days later. With the second I just bought magazines, then m/c.
