pls share with me what you did/took/is taking to stop this, am three weeks pregnant and has intching, my doc prescribed CETIRIZINE, but am scared to take this, can anyone confirm if its safe as am in first semister, pls help am worried.

Cetirizine Acetic Acid Hydrochloride is the chemical name for Cetrizine (Zyrtec). I'm not a chemist, but I do know what acetic acid is and what it smells like. I have a big bottle of it in my kitchen cabinet and I use it often for salads....lt's vinegar......

I have been on cetirizine for several years for itchy hands and feet, the dermatographism seemed to be connected to the intake of cetirizine and lessened in severity when I changed my allergy pill or stopped all together. I was given rounds of Prednisone, shots, Triamcinolone Acetonide 1% cream which causes periorbital dermatitis. That lead to having to take four weeks of minocycline. I now will have spontaneous eruptions of a red itchy rash with small raised bumps mostly on my torso or arms.

Putting the mattresses out in sun, vacuum cleaning, finding out if there are cats or dogs in immediate neighborhood etc should be carried out. You could also be allergic to any cosmetic you apply on face or eye or even for your hair like shampoos or dyes too can cause allergies. Fungus too can cause mold allergy especially if the walls have seepage problems. Hope this helps. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined.

I suggest you look up some articles on crate training and have your husband read them. We are not talking in humane crating here. He probably has visions if puppy mill dogs. Many of us here are experienced and "humane" dog people. Dogs are basically den animals. All my dogs have usually gone in their crates on their own to nap, my little one is in her crate now. I leave the door open. If your dog is ill or injured, the crate comes in handy.

I know the fact that it is safe/recommended for human use is not proof it is safe or effective on dogs. Still I'd like to give it a try. On the ears there is no way he can lick/ingest the stuff, on the feet he may get some ingested and perhaps that is a different issue.

The burning goes away for awhile but returns in about two hours after I use it. The label says to only use it 1-3 times today and I just used it for the third time. Can I use it again if the burning returns or do I have to deal with it until tomorrow?

My allergist from Cleveland clinic here in Coral Spring FL prescribe me CETIRIZINE 10MG 3 tablets a day for a month and then bring it down to 2 a day. I began with the treatment on March 2021 as today July 27/2021 I can tell you that I'm feeling 85% better before was every single day going to hell, today I'm not completely free, but feel much much better. and since your baby is use to getting meds in her eyes i am sure she will be fine with it.You can also have it compounded into drops if drops are better then the ointment.I use the compounded drops it seems to last longer than the other.I put 2 drops in twice a day.I hope your baby is feels better soon.
