Dear Sir i am a petient of chronic usticaria, from last 7 years, now i taking some medicines which is Enocet (Cetrizine Hydrochlodride Tab., but i want to plan for pregnancy,and i am worried about baby.is it harm for baby?or can i take this medicine in pregnancy?& i want to know that medicine will affect on brest milk?

Medicines like cetirizine are used to treat nasal allergies. So if one has both, the surgery itself will not make the allergies go away. My doctor said I got urticaria. First I got itching on my palm then foot then whole body which turn red and a lot of bumps, hives, scratchs....you name it. NoOne could tell me why I got it.

My allergist from Cleveland clinic here in Coral Spring FL prescribe me CETIRIZINE 10MG 3 tablets a day for a month and then bring it down to 2 a day. I began with the treatment on March 2021 as today July 27/2021 I can tell you that I'm feeling 85% better before was every single day going to hell, today I'm not completely free, but feel much much better. Try it. CETIRIZINE is the same as ZYRTEC, but less expensive if a Dr. prescribed it . Good luck.

I have since finished those pills, but I mention this because when I was a kid, I was told I was allergic to the dye in the liquid amoxicillin (banana medicine). I got hives, apparently, when I took it. Maybe it's actually the amox? But I'm wondering if the allergic reaction could have been dormant until the last couple days of the pills?

My father-in-law developed hives (large ones throughout his body) soon after starting metformin. He has now suffered from these hives for over a year. He takes an allergy medicine (cetirizine hydrochloride) every day (three tablets which is over the recommended dose, but necessary to control his hive outbreaks) and predisone often.

You should consult a dermatologist who can determine the cause and prescribe appropriate treatment for it. In the meanwhile, you may try moisturizing lotions and calamine lotion for a soothing effect.
All blood results are normal. When I am taking medicine it will be alright after 1 week the same problem started. (I have taken pridinysolen tabs and chrotizone injection). How it will be cure permanently? Please advise me.
Did they disappear? If she continues to have them, I'd consider doing allergy testing on her to see what caused them. Benadryl works for a lot of people. It agitates me/activates me so I can't take it but it works pretty well for hives.
