I got these rashes that look like a bug bites on my thigh Sunday night when I got home from work. It really itched a lot until I took some benadrily and it helped to stop the itching. When I woke up Monday morning and they were still there, there are 4 of them on the right side of my thigh and one big one on the left, all of them just above my knee. They are not itching that bad anymore but it is Monday night and I would figure if they were bug bites that they would be gone by know.
Hives are usually allergic (food, medication and insect stings) but may also be due to infections and stress. Many a times no specific cause for them is ever found.

i just noticed them today and its kinda starting to worry me. i have had them on my arm for a while, and just thought they were caused by the sun. but when i noticed them on my faced to today i started thinking. i have looked at my make up cause i was reading that it maybe caused by makeup with silicon in it. i would just like to know what it is if you could help before i go to the doctor over it. thank you please let me know soon.
For the last couple weeks, I've been getting continuous insect bites. They are small, reddish bumps on my skin that are mostly appearing on my arms and legs, and they itch like a flea or mosquito bite. They itch for about an hour, and then fade after a day or so. I shower daily and wash my clothing regularly, so I have no idea where this is coming from, and they appear throughout the day.
Shortly after the bites started appearing, I spent a week visiting my boyfriend in another city.
Is it just me whose getting bitten more I don't even be outside enough for these bites its like so on as I step out I'm attacked
It might be some insects biting you in your sleep, e.g. spiders, bed bugs, etc.
What concerns me is when you said, "I have had the bites for about a month now." This makes me wonder whether if it's insect bites. I would definitely consult a doctor.
Thanks, I will google insect bites. I do not know what an earwig looks like. I did have three pest control companies come out and assess, found nothing. I do know they are entering from outside because I saw small black bugs in my washing machine. I bought a new washing machine and have not seen any in there yet. I am totally worn out from whatever this is. Thanks for your post.
For the last year and a half, I have had recurring rashes. They are typically clusters of itchy bumps that puff into bigger bumps when I itch them, and are sometimes red and sometimes not. I originally got them on my inner thighs, but they appear also behind my knees, on my arms mostly by my elbow joints and armpit areas, and also up my biceps and triceps area. I also get them in the upper chest, and occasionally on the neck.
My husband has big bites on his inner thigh, penis, and just under his scrotum. They are itchy and painful. Not mosquito bite. Could it be spider bites. Read up on bed bugs and I don't think that is the answer either. Do you have any suggestions? Could it be baby spider bites???

Itching with associated rash may be due to infestations with parasites (such as scabies, mites, or lice), insect bites, hives, dermatitis ( atopic dermatitis/ allergic dermatitis/ contact dermatitis) and even dry skin. On the other hand, systemic diseases that can cause itching include liver disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, and cancer. Some types of medications may also cause itching. I recommend that you have this evaluated further by your doctor for proper management.

Are you sure it's not a rash, rather than insect bites? If in fact it's insect bites, are these bites around the hair follicles? If so, they are most likely chiggers. "Google" the subject to see photos, more info for self-diagnosis, and at-home treatments. I'm a big believer in mild antiseptics, benadryl itch spray, and calimine lotion to treat both rashes and bites. I hope you find relief soon!
I found that the All Day Allergy pill 10 mg is working because it is Cetirizine and it works for 24 hours, but I also found at my home that we have Zyrtec also. But it is Cetirizine HCL 10 mg. What is the difference?
When I woke up the other day, I sound some small bumpy insect bits on my thigh, adn thought nothing of it.
I slept naked the next day and when I woke up, my vagina was unbelievably itchy. I'm covered in what I believe to be these insect bites, my vulva is lumpy from them, slightly swollen and sore. The ones on my arm and thigh went down over a day, but these on my vagina are here for the third day ina row and they're driving me insane.
I have some type of insect bite (I believe spider) on my stomach that has only gotten larger and itchier in the past few days. I've had all types of insect bites and stings before but never had this reaction.
At first, the bite was slightly elevated and red. It was about the size of a quarter. Over the past few days, it's spread out significantly and is still elevated. It's about the size of 3 quarters. It's also dry and bumpy and has gotten more red.
The legs and arms are covered with what look like insect bites 5-10 mm in size and scratched open in the center. The worst areas are on the back of the upper thigh where the skin is red and thickened 10 cm in size. Basically dry but will weep either blood or clear liquid. The child cannot concentrate and is a slave to the effects of the itching. The Allergist says no specific strong allergy was found just the usual (Dust, pollen etc) but none severe.
Regarding the diagnosis if scabies, It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs.

I have several (3 or 4) weird insect bites of some sort. They seemed, at first like normal bites (mosquito or something like it), they welted up and itched, but now (24-48 hours later) they have bruising around them (not surrounding, in any uniform pattern or anything, just off to the side a little), and the whole area (welt and bruise) is sore.
My 20 month old has bumps comin up her face arms and legs that itch her like crazy and seems like every day she has new ones.. Her pediatrician says it's insect bites but she wakes up with new ones and she comes home from daycare with new ones, she gets em all during the day and nite and it's leaving scars on her and she has trouble sleeping from itching at night. This has been goin on for months and i have taken her back to her dr.

Also my skin, on my legs especially, gets scarred very easily from insect bites, it takes months and months to disappear,hopefully if it does that.My mother has the same but its much worse and on much more of her leg. These dark marks are only present on my leg however, nowhere else. Is there anthing you can recommend ? Any help would be much appreciated.
