safety

Avatar f tn I wouldn't do it. It can be very dangerous even that early.
Avatar f tn Jon Stewart defended his Comedy Central colleagues, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the creators of "South Park," in a 10-minute segment on Thursday night bashing a radical Muslim group for issuing a death threat against the rude-humor duo. You can watch the segment here (warning: some PG-13 language).
Avatar f tn Thank you so much. I completely get what you are saying. I absolutely want this overwith but I need to get through this trip to Boston and cannot handle being very sick and being with him almost continually for two days. I am going to try to just space out the time between doses each day. Over the weekend I can push harder. I have a big meeting on Monday next week but I am going to see if I can take a long weekend the next weekend and maybe just stop altogether by then.
Avatar f tn I would love a trip to New York we were coming 2001 in the fall but of course that didnt happen I would love to come to see the new Freedom Tower, when its finished in 2011 at least that when its supposed to be finished ,I want to stroll in Central Park ,never been to NY and I hear its great.
Avatar f tn I had a sleep study earlier this year that confirmed hypoventilation at night with elevated CO2 (52%). I was placed on a cpap but have been unable to tolerate this. I cannot go to sleep with it on and if I do get to sleep, I take it off in 1-2 hrs. I was seeing someone in the sleep clinic but he moved to another state. I saw a NP who prescribed restoril but it has not helped at all. I know I need to use the cpap .
Avatar f tn he used to always sleep in the kennel but she started letting him stay out. he is back in as he gets into things at night. Now he is having the runs in his kennel and it is getting all over the wall and carpet. what could cause this as nothing is wrong with my dog.
Avatar n tn I walk both my dogs for about 45min to an hour every night and they go on regular visits to the dog park so it can't be the lack of exercise. how do I prevent him from being bored at night? theres not really much I can do if I'm asleep.
Avatar f tn Does anyone nose get stuffy at night. Idk if it's sinus. Does anyone have a humidifier & will it work??
Avatar m tn He wakes a few times each night and is sweating profusely, requiring changing sheets once or twice a night. Is sleep apnea common in MS and related to the disease? He has Primary Progressive MS.
Avatar n tn I was just diagnosed with OSA, it mild-moderate I think. But I will be seeing a Pumonalogist because my sustained levels of O2 at night are below 88. Sometimes as low as 83. It doesn't come up when the apnea event is over, it just stays low (I believe it was written as sustained levels, more than 1/2 of the study). I am on a CPAP now and it seems to be helping a little, but should I be concerned? I am 41 a non smoker, I have CKD II(stable) and do have some problems with my heart.
Avatar f tn I'M A 48 YEAR OLD FEMALE THAT BEEN ON PAIN MEDS SINCE 6YRS. THE REASON FOR TAKING PAIN MEDS . I HAD 3 KNEE SURGERY,HERNIA REPAIR,BLOCKAGE OF THE COLON,APPENDIX REMOVED.NECK SURGERY.BACK SURGERY,TUMOR ON LEFT SHOULDER.ALSO OSTEARTITIS.WHICH STARTED ME TAKING PRESCRIBE PAIN MEDS.THIS YEAR 2011 I HAD BACK SURGERY WHICH WAS 100% SUCCESS THAT NOW I DON'T NEED NO PAIN MEDS. Avatar f tn Definitely walk, at the least. With my first I walked 15-30 mins a day and I had a natural labor that went very smoothly. A local park, gym or even your yard works.
1580703 tn?1651904887 Is CPAP the mask worn at night, supposedly while asleep, that provides a slight increase in air pressure? I recall my brother-in-law using an air pump for sleeping - but he suffers from emphysema - not sleep apnea. was your apnea determined by a sleep study done in a clinic? I am thinking about buying a oxygen saturation tester, the type that clamps on the finger, to record my O2 levels during the night.
Avatar f tn I work in the theme park/water park industry. They do not recommend the rides and slides for pregnant women for safety purposes. I just went to one of the water parks with my family a couple of weeks ago, and I was over 35 weeks pregnant. I spent the day drifting down the lazy river and wading in the wave pool, while my husband and son did the slides. As much as I love the slides, I know it is not best for my baby and I rather enjoyed a nice relaxing day without standing in lines.
Avatar f tn Any mommies have ideas for date night with hubby. Looking for something fun but still safe to do while pregnant and we're tired of just the movies .
2109562 tn?1347253848 The only thing I was allowed to do at the water parks was sit in the lazy river.. Not much fun.. The park had signs everywhere stating if u were pregnant you would not be permitted to ride.. long hot day I tell you :( definitely won't be going to.any water parks this time around!
Avatar f tn t oncologists, drug makers, or some medical group develop a central reporting of these long term side effects in an effort to gain valuable knowledge from patients who are living longer than ever before, post chemotherapy? Armed with this information, wouldn't it show if drugs need to be developed to give at the time of chemotherapy to offset the effects of some of these long term side effects?
Avatar m tn If, after thinking all of this through and checking with his cardiologist, you two decide to do this, I would say to be sure and check out the length of time you will need to be in Wyoming early, in order to adequately acclimatize yourselves to the thinner air. A 7-day backpacking trip at 10,000 feet is no walk in the park.
Avatar n tn The grey blobs are are still there to a much lesser degree (on the bottom left corner of my right eye vision) than at the time of incidence and are more noticeable during the night. During the day there is hardly any sign of them. I went and saw an opthamologist the very next morning and he conducted an eye exam. I told him about these flashes and he said that these will disappear over time and that they are associated with the area that was affected within the eye.
Avatar f tn i always experience skipped beats, like its going down my throat. When i wake at night, its with palpitations.is it related to anxiety or what?been having this for up to 10yrs,can happen 8 times a month,or once in 4 months.pls i need help.thanks. Avatar n tn I was in central park the other day laying out on the grass, and I noticed that there was blood on my thumb. I had no idea where it came from, maybe from the grass I was laying on, or something I touched, or maybe somebody walked by who was bleeding and it landed there, but I quickly rubbed it off with my hand which was retarded because it absorbed into my skin. Is this a risk?
233488 tn?1310693103 There is a major risk of eye injury in racquet sports and your husband MUST wear safety sports glasses for his tennis game. (I have seen eyes blinded from tennis injuries). Quite some time back a survey was taken of retina surgeons about letting their patients return to full activities after retinal detachment surgery (much more extensive than what your husband had).
