Researchers reported a 53 percent reduction in relapses in patients taking it and a greater than 30 percent reduction of permanent disability progression over a two-year period. It also appears to have fewer risks than equally potent drugs like Gilenya. “This might be the drug that would completely displace the interferons,” said Dr. Timothy L. Avatar f tn good Drs for thyroid cancer in the NY/NJ area - or Philly for that matter. I have papillary stage III with high Tg and clearly lymph nodes infected still after the TT in July and RAI in Sept. Most of my searches turn up general endo, not thyroid cancer specialists. Thanks in advance to any suggestions.

Avatar n tn Gabapentine is a good medicine that has shown some consistent results. Reduction of stress levels is also shown to work. Thalamus is the center where all the sensory information comes. And it includes emotional aspects, too. Some people benefit from stereotactic surgery (Thalamotomy). The decision regarding the treatment options can be discussed with your Neurologist. All the best.
Avatar f tn Hi All, I have had my Restor implants for 9 months now and I want them removed. They have been nothing but trouble. I have vaseline vision, negative dysphotopsia (crescent-shaped shadows), halos, and my pupils are off-center. Aside from all this I still can't see, I need glasses to look at the computer, and they feel "heavy" and uncomfortable. I am looking for a doctor in NY that might be able to help me. Thanks!!
Avatar n tn I am sure I need surgery but doctors in my city don’t understand. I wish I knew where to go for expert help but,it’s difficult to search in this condition.
Avatar f tn You can save A LOT of money and make a difference in the world and in the life of a child by adopting embryos you can go through your local doctor, a private agency, national center for embro adoption in kentucky or cooper center in new jersey I did and each procedure was less than three grand - all meds, u/s the procedure itself and thawing - and I can live with peace of mind that 1. I made a difference in the workd and 2.
486038 tn?1300063367 Anyone familiar with this one? I may need to go there, depending on how this whole thing plays out, becuase I can't necessarily keep flying up to NY forever, with my family, life and insuranec being in AL. Problem is, I trust my doctor in NY, and I haven't heard anything about the Birmingham MS center. Aren't they for Peds?
410475 tn?1262942367 Personally I would risk 75mg/day reduction while above 150mg/day, but stick to 37.5mg/day reduction for each step down from 150mg/day. When it comes to antidepressants, always get doctor advice before implementing a reduction program. As always, my comments do not constitute doctor's advice --- always see a doctor before changing any medication for stress or depression.
Avatar m tn i have done that. I went to the top doctor at teaching school in NY. He says get your BP under control and you wont need an ablation. I saw a few cardio drs. I just dont like the numbing tingly sensation down my leg and foot and these pressurous headaches. This has been for 5 years of seeing doctors. Do you think I havent went for several opinions in all fields. No on is thinking OUTsdie the box.

Avatar m tn Hi there, I am a 24 year old female, wondering if someone can help me out with my situation. I've been experiencing some pain in the center of my abdomen just below my ribcage for the past two days. The pain is dull and seems to be on and off throughout the day. The pain goes away for a while when I take tylenol/advil. I've been experiencing more feeling of nausea and have been belching more than I normally would. I was looking online and some sites say it may be gallstones?
12162520 tn?1426012596 It isn't normal for baby to stop moving due to lack of room.. This really is outdated advise, please get checked out if you experience and reduced movements. Their movements will change from kicks to movements but you shouldn't feel a reduction in the amount they move. Chances are everything is fine but it's not worth taking that chance, as fetal movement is a really good indication if something is wrong. You know what's normal for your own baby.
Avatar n tn I cannot excercise because of them and I suffer from rashes and breakout underneath and in between them. I am in desperate need of a breast reduction but cannot afford it and my insurance will not cover the cost. I also suffer emotionally because of them and would like some help. Are their any surgeons who do pro bono reductions or the surgery at a reduced cost?
