ve tried 3 different non HRT prescriptions (clonidin, Effexor, Cymbalta) and the side-effects are not worth the relief from the symptons. Has your doctor said anything about going on estrogen replacement? Mine is reluctant because she said it could cause endo to re-occur elsewhere in my body. are you having any menopause symptoms?

ve been on hormone replacement therapy every since. I was on patches, estrace pills. cenestin .625 until I went to a dr that did bioidentical hormones. She put me on the patch and I was just losing my hair but surviving then my dr left and I was sent to the only other doctor there and she put me on the Wily Protocol. Well I seemed to do good for 5 years and boom everything went wrong.

I have been taking 0.625 milligrams of cenestin since the surgery. I just changed to estradiol 0.5 mg. due to an increase in my insurance co-pay My question is how long do I need to continue with Hrt therapy?

I take atenelol and Cenestin (HRT) and I also have IBS and have been diagnosed with (since I have no gall bladder) having problems with bile. I have noticed several, several times that I pass my pills on particularly sensitive days for my stomach. Sometimes they appear to be in a capsule form, other times they are barely covered by a 'gel' like substance but I can clearly see what they are - even with gloves, getting them, I can break into them and see my pills.

The estrogen is kicking in with a vengeance and my poor husband has to just grin and bare it all. I think after this pregnancy he will think carefully before attempting to make number 2. Are you experiencing the same?

All I know is that after you get pregnant you can use an ovulation monitor as a pregnancy test since it can tell an increase just like when you ovulate. I'm not sure how soon after ovulation it works though.

my ttumor was tested and it was estrogen positive i am on an estrogen blocker.. how about asking your doc if the tumor was estrogen positive or not.

With menopause your body stops making estrogen. Eating soy products seems to boost the estrogen a bit, but is that good? I was a regular consumer of soy milk, tofu, edamame and flax seed after menopause. After my diagnosis of breast cancer (estrogen positive) my oncologist recommended I avoid soy products because even the weak phytoestrogens may stimulate cancer cells. Research is not conclusive but better to be safe. As the addage goes, 'all things in moderation.

Does anyone happen to know if there has been a connection with too much estrogen causing more neuropathy pain?? Anyone experience the onset of neuropathy after a hysterectomy? I would appreciate any info.

Endometriosis feed off estrogen. The estrogen-dependent endo lesions, if left unchecked, will begin to create their own estrogen. I do want to clarify that the pill or any other form of HRT does not prevent the Endometriosis from growing. The reason it is used is to help stop the pain by stopping the periods. I was on a low dose BCP (Marvelon) for 8 yrs continuously and did help with my pain. However it still continued to grow even after deep excision surgery.

t, appears you have many clear signs of estrogen dominance. I believe estrogen to progesterone should be 2:1 (according to more naturopath MDs) and that is what I strive for, but definitely get many of the symptoms you list above when my estrogen gets too high. Saw 3 traditional OBGYNs + 2 internists who were of no help to me and their primary solution was BCP then finally got relief from a preventative medicine MD.

I did a hormonal imbalance test and it turns out my estrogen level is at 203. The doctor told me to eat healthy, no carbs and no sugar. They also say irregular period is due to stress. I did my research stress leads to high estrogen. So I am guessing that is what causing it to be high. But I also read eating foods with lots of vitamins (ex. Selenium. Melatonin, vitamin b, magnesium, etc.) helps reduce it. But all this time I've been on a diet and I have been eating all of that.

I have just been prescribed vaginal estrogen cream to relieve some symptoms that I've had. (irriatated feeling, cramps, pinching feeling) Does anyone have any feedback on this cream? Kind of concerned as breast cancer runs in my family and not sure about using this cream. Has anyone tried anything more natural?

Ok my RE nurse just called and said my estrogen was 2300 and they said that can't be right they had the lab redo it and it came back 2300 again. They want to see me on Sunday morning. Any suggestions and what is normal I had 5 dominant follies today and some small ones.

Is this a temporary estrogen fix as i would call it, will my fsh levels rise again.. The Re says my levels are perfect right now and will proceed with putting me back on lupron and etc....

They said that on my 2nd day of my period I suppose to start my estrogen patches. What if I put them on the 3rd or 4th day? I have a lot of spotting so I'm not sure what is my 2nd day. How imporant is it to do it on the 2nd day?

My tests show I have low estrogen (also taking birth control pill), decreased cortisol in the morning and increased at night and elevated DHEA. I'm just baffled as to why I am sweating so much. Should I get treated for the estrogen or should they level out once my thyroid is fixed? I am taking natural supplements for my adrenals and might want to try HC but I have heard not so good stories about it. Are there natural adrenal meds or how should I go abouts treating it?
