Infact i checked with my doctor who said this was fine and i checked in the british national formulary which states no ill effects except that the effects of alcohol can be possibly enhanced by ssri use.
I had gastric bypass surgery 17 months ago and lost 107 pounds but have regained 20 pounds. She took me off of Neurontin and flexeril because of weight gain and I am in severe pain and cannot sleep. I was on celexa 20 mg for a year, and quit it cold turkey in December. Had some dizziness from doing that, but felt okay otherwise. Until a few weeks later...which my doctor said wasn't withdrawl because it would be out of my system, but just how I feel being off an antidepressant period. Anyways, I started having bad anxiety.
Plus I take celexa and ativan for depression and anxiety anyway.Ultram had another effect on me though that I really liked and that was when i was having a really bad day I could take a couple and I would feel so much better,I guess thats what got me started, 3 a day went to 4 a day....etc.I was up to 10 a day and then when I decided to try and stop, the withdrawls were unbelieveable.I was told that I would have them but I didnt think it would be that bad.
Also been through Lexapro and then celexa. I had no problem getting rid of Lexapro or celexa. But I wish I could say the same for the vico- but I am living proof that you CAN withdraw c/t and that I did it while working every single day, not missing a day of work and coming home to a house with 4 children.
Opioid-induced hyperalgesia is a condition where the increased use of opiates, like Oxycontin and hydrocodone, heightens one's sensitivity to discomfort and reduces their tolerance for pain. Essentially, people will increase the amount of painkillers they are taking as their discomfort continues to escalate, but the added medication can actually make their pain worse.
he said my back was very tense and tried me on serveral different muscle relaxers thinking maybe muscle spasms were the cause of my urethral pain, burning hands and feet and NOW low back and buttocks pain. after no help with these meds he went to something drastic and gave me phenobarbital as it is an anti convulsant not just used for seizure patients.
Supplements include 500 mg Fish Oil and 1 Sustenex Probiotic daily. With this medicine regime I can still use flexeril or Hydroco for a damaged rotator cuff and Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue. I probably only use pain meds two or three times a month. Probably because I continue to keep the dosage low, I don't ever have that needy feeling to increase dosage. Oh yes and switching from Xanax to Klonopin.......I just quit one and started the other. But remember, I was on a very low dosage.
well right know I'm taking vicodin and ultram and flexeril. and yes with not much relief. yesterday i just had a ct scan for the si joint and i will find out if the doc will do any thing other than just the injection that don't help. I hate to have another surgery but I can't handle the pain any more! I spend 50 % of my day time hours flat in bed plus my night time hours. I'm only 43 yrs old but i have day's that i fell 93. It is suppose to naturally heal the body by increasing serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine.

I am currently taking celexa, klonopin, ambien, and flexeril. I dont know if I am ready I will just have to see and find out. I am taking .5 a night instead of the 1 mg I was taking everyday. It is day three and I just feel a bit larthgic and had a nightmare last night that was quite vivid. Anyone who has been or is in the similiar situation as me please describe when I should expect symptoms.
One has to wonder why I quit the celexa-because we wanted to try and get pregnant, and you can't be on that medication if pregnant. and before all of this, if I DID have any anxiety, it wasn't noticeable to me. The anxiety I have felt did not start until these "symptoms" appeared, which was weeks after I stopped taking the celexa.
For now I will choose flexeril (Cyclobenzaprine), and there are a few drug interactions with your current medications.

I've also been on neurotin, flexeril, valuim, and antibiotics, and antivirals, flomax, oxybutain, ect. I am now being treated like i'm a pain pill addict, which i am not in anyway.
I just was told by a female doctor, who I was finally sent too that my problem is hormones. She recommended diet changes, and postive thinking, and exercise. and to slowlt wean my self off the xanax. What if ant herb might help me achieve this.
Im not taking soma, but i am taking flexeril which is also a muscle relaxer. and instead of Zoloft i am taking celexa which is also an antidepressant and anti anxiety. I also have xanax but only take when i need it. My problem is that I have no pain at all. Just severe weakness and some preasure in my upper jaw. Sometimes I just get this general ill feeling. but it only lasts for a few seconds but get it quite a bit.
Paxil I also found more stimulating than calming. However, both celexa (Lexapro's mother) and Zoloft were very calming to me and my twitchy ticker. Of the two, I prefer Zoloft. My psychiatrist has a particular interest in the biochemistry of these drugs, and since I have had hyperthyroidism (in the past, not now), as well as PVCs and labile hypertension, his best choices for me are celexa and Zoloft, because he says they generally have few effects on the heart and BP.
I struggled with pain meds and Xanax for a few years and was taking enough of both to kill a horse. Luckily I'm not a horse! Anyway have you been taking a lot of Xanax. Be very careful with CT on Xanax because it can be very dangerous. I would like to know how much you were taking of both so I may be able to give you some solid suggestions. I've been clean for 16 months and it is so nice to wake up in the morning instead of coming too.
Hi and Welcome Tramadol Warriors, Please come on in and make yourself comfy. All are welcome.
Propranolol, Gabapentin, celexa, Prosac, Nortriptyline, Elavil, Robaxin, Topomax, Valproic, flexeril and Fluticasone. I still feel there is something physically happening in my body that causes the headaches. Whether it's arthritis, constricted blood vessels, something in my brain or 100 other possibilities there's got to be a simple or complicated answer. Also I think with the right answer the headaches can be resolved.
Ambien(Zolpidem) Lunesta(Eszopiclone) Sonata(Zaleplon) Imovane(Zopiclone) Also to be avoided are muscle relaxants like Soma and flexeril. they are not only addictive, but they will make you behave like a monkey and then not remember it later. If you're actively abusing opiates and taking Benzos/hypnotics/muscle relaxants, then you are basically getting down on your hands and knees and begging for an overdose.
imitrex, tylenol with codeine, celexa, flexeril, doxepin, trazadone, naproxen, allegra D, prozac, lidocaine patch, fludrocortisone, mobic, inderal, migranol, zomisamide, effexor, lortab, singular. Trey is now on: singular, nortripytline (for sleep, makes him edgy?), fludrocortisone, loratadine, depakote. Trey is currently seeing an osteopath/physical therapist who says his tissues are reacting positively to her treatments. A lot of the pain seems to be in his over-charged nerves.
They have me on lortab, flexeril, celexa, Xanax, adderal , ambian , hydroxyzine, and zistril. I find myself isolated from the world, my fiancé is at the end of her rope with me and says she can't take it anymore and wants to have me committed due to irrational thoughts and falling in deep dark holes. I am to the point I just want Togo to sleep. I know I am not an unstable person but am petrified at who I am as of lately and just want to go to sleep and stop being a burden.
Could this be my medications? Zoloft, flexeril, and just recently put on Vicodin for a disc problem. I see my psychologist this week. It also seems when I go 2 full weeks without therapy my symptoms get worse. Should I tell her I have to see her every week? However, this anger is all new.
Followed up yet again with my doctor, he definetly says this is all related to depression and anxiety and put me on Wellbutrin SR 150 mg twice a day, and is going to add Buspar if in a month I don't feel better. My hubby and I are planning on trying to get pregnant soon, so that's why we aren't trying Xanax or anything like that. Anyways, I am on day 5 of the Wellbutrin, and the past two nights I have had some trouble sleeping.
