celebrex is it safe

I know it is a NSAID so I am scared of it. He thinks it is not a problem with hep c, but he is not a Hep C doc. What is the scoop on it? Any one taking it with Hep C?

As with any NSAID (which Toradol is), there is a increased risk for stomach issues with it, including gastro bleeding. Nausea and vomiting is quite common. Another thing to consider with the NSAIDS is that they can also raise blood pressure, so if you have a blood pressure problem (and even if you don't) - you need to watch it very carefully taking this type of medication.

Hello there, I read you are taking celebrex. Did you know that celebrex has been taken off many drug store shelves. It is not a safe drug. Are you sure it's the Lyrica that is causing your weight gain? If it's the Lyrica that is causing the weight gain, maybe you should stop taking it, but talk to your doctor first. I stoped to use Celebrex about a week ago but the only thing is happening is that the yellow circle is increasing size in the direction of the center of the white circle. Depending in the level of illumination and the angle I look to the wall, I can see a image of a small spot exactly in the center of the vision, that has the form of a bean, inside of what I can see a series of smaler spots of yelow color.

DO NOT take celebrex with ttc!! It can cause miscarriage it causes a problem with implanting. Drs say it is safe but research shows it is NOT safe. It's the same reason you cannot take Aleve in pregnancy they are both a NSAID. It won't cause any birth defects but it can cause miscarriage.

It is very effective for relieving her severe bi-lateral knee pain and she feels the benefits out weight the risks. She is 49. Celebrex may cause an increased risk of serious cardiovascular thrombotic events, myocardial infarction, and stroke, which can be fatal. All nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may have a similar risk. This risk may increase with duration of use.

I have severe joint point pain and I have been told that Celebrex is a huge help for this. I am wondering about side effects and medicine interactions.

I will only do that if the pain is so bad during the day. It is so much worse at night and I have a hard time sleeping. That is why the xanax helped with that. Shut my mind down and helped me sleep. I notice the one one time I took the muscle relaxer it didn't help with sleep. I hate taking all these drugs but I am at a point that I an in so much pain and just need some relief and some sleep. Help will all this be ok to take together? I also take a multi vitamin.

They say my liver can take it, (stage 2 fibrosis). But I am afraid of the NSAIDs in celebrex, any one else taking it? Oh, I am on Methadone too. yey....it is good stuff and safer than celebrex....I take naproxen sodium which is very similar....my son hurt his knee and had fluid on it...he took it for a week and applied ice and it healed up.....I like it because for me I can take as needed instead of everyday...most have to build up in your system and can not be used on a prn basis...
