celebrex dosage medications

Can I take two celebrex pills? They are 200mg. I still have some aches and it has been all ready about 4 hours ago I took 200mg.

I have been prescibed Celebrex for osteoarthris pain. Can it be taken every day for long term management of arthritis.

You guys are gooooooood. For sure! If we had a Tracker for different medications and then an option for dosage change, I have no problem putting the dosage in my journal, as long as I can see what date it was on the Tracker. I find that more important to see right away than the actual dosage. You guys are awesome! Thanks!!

I have been dealing with chronic shoulder pain and nerve damage in my LT shoulder as a result of chronic dislocations (At one time, about 1 year, 10-15 times daily.) I have had two surgeries to stabilize the shoulder, repair the glenoid labrum and have two Hills Sachs deformities on the humeral head. Until recently, I have been on a daily regimen of 10-20mg Oxycontin in the AM and Percocet PRN in the evening if I've over exerted it during the work day.

I have been taking Celebrex (200 mg a day) for about five years for bone on bone knee osteoarthritis. It has worked well for controlling my pain (not perfect but pretty good). I also get some lower back pain (combination of osteoarthritis and nerve stuff) that only happens when I over-do (like trying to garden, etc.). I typically need a day or two of Vicodin for that as the Celebrex does not seem to work for that.

I have been on methotrexate and celebrex for at least 15 years, probably long. I am currently in a tremendous amount of pain in my fingers, elbows, shoulders, left knee and left hip. Volteran gel has not helped at all and neither has Aleve. Can I take tramadol with these two drugs? I have recently switched my insurance and am waiting to get into a new rheumatologist.

Norflex, Celebrex and Kotase(Bromelain). He asked me to take one of each tab twice a day for 5 days before removing the cast. According to him, this will reduce the pains i will feel when the cast is removed. However, i am a bit worried about the drugs. I'm bothered there might be some after effects. I had lumbar spine fusion six weeks ago and am in PT. Still some pain so am taking 3 Ultracet tabs per 24 hours with pretty good pain relief except following 30 minutes on the treadmill and various muscle building exercises and stretches. To calm down those muscles following exercises and stretches I would like to take one 200mg Celebrex daily but one drug interaction cite suggests "Moderate" drug-drug issue involving CYP450 2D6, which means nothing to me.

i am a 19 year old female and i currently take a few medications but I'm wondering if these could be causing anxiety and depression. i have addisons disease so I have to take steroids everyday, for the past year I have been on loestrin 24 e and also I was on celebrex but have since switched to meloxicam. I've been reading a lot about how birth control can cause depression and anxiety even after being on it for quite some time. Lately I am so anxious and depressed it's ruling my life.

I started taking Celebrex two months ago and have gained 18 lbs since. I am wondering if anyone has gained weight on Celebrex? I have a sprained lumbar, lumbago syndrome with back spasms. I can't take narcotic pain meds. Any alternative to Celebrex? Naproxen does nothing for my pain.

I think that it would be ok to drop down like the doc told u to do and also on comment to the getting off i was having the same problem with celexa and he changed me to celebrex now so hope that the problem goes away he says that celebrex is less side effects of the sexual disfunction hope all goes good and keep up the great job stephanie

I just want to address a reoccurring issue that I see here. While we all have various knowledge and experience with medications, remember we are not doctors and are not qualified to prescribe or give instructions to people how to take their medications. For people that have been here for awhile, they know that there have been dire consequences when people do this on their own.

As Hep Ber, are we suppose to avoid acetominophen? Most medications such as all cold , cough, etc have it. What are we suppose to take as alternative or just go ahead and take it?

m a new RN and cannot take narcotics, so I have so switch medications. I am attempting to switch from Nucynta (50 mg 6x/day) to Celebrex (200mg 3x/day). My doctor didn't give me any advice for tapering off one to another. Any advice on how to do that? Can I take the Celebrex while still taking some Nucynta?

Ive tried steroid injections(some relief for a little while) 800mg motrin, celebrex.660mg celebrex, norco,tramadol. Ive taken torodol,it works but i cant take it more than a couple of days.(you get the pic.) I have been going to my family DR. for 6 years. Has anyone used Celebrex for their Crohn's? I have severe joint point pain and I have been told that Celebrex is a huge help for this. I am wondering about side effects and medicine interactions.

She is 64 but she also has osteoporosis and arthritis in her lower back. The back doctor just prescribed Celebrex, is this the safest drug for her? Also what should people with Hep C do to better care for their liver eventhough so far she seems to have a healthy liver. For the osteoporosis she is on Fosamax. She has been on it for several years. I am just afraid that too many potent drugs can be harmful for her liver.

I started on Celebrex on Sunday. I take it every afternoon at the same time. I have not noticed any difference. I had read that it should only take "a few days" for it to start working. I'm not sure how long I should give it? Admittedly, I was not happy to be starting it in the first place, so my gut reaction is to only give it a week, and stop it if it doesn't seem to be working. The thing that seems to be working the most is my nighttime dose of gabapentin.
