Once your inflammation dissipates and you stop taking Celebrex everything should return to normal, that is, if you didn't have high morning glucose levels previously. IMHO.

I don't think it should be an issue, I took Celebrex and Morphine for an extended time with no issue. Ask your doctor about any concerns though.

Incredible pain like I never felt before down my right leg and hence had associated anxiety due to pain. Doctor recommended to wait 2 - 3 weeks to see if pain went away. Gave me Celebrex for pain but I'm afraid of side effects(risk of stroke, etc) so I took Ibuprophen 2 -3 times per day over this period. Finally, based on X-Rays, Doctor recommended Physical Therapy. The very next day after my first PT session, my ears started ringing.

My two daughters take Celebrex as a person would take Advil here or there and do fine with it .. they both cannot take ibuprofen. My son cannot take it since birth as he gets bad reflux from in .. They make custom made ibuprofen suppositories if you really need a NSAID but cannot do it by mouth and they are wonderful .. you need a compounding pharmacy but my co pay was only $8.00!

Has anyone used Celebrex for their Crohn's? I have severe joint point pain and I have been told that Celebrex is a huge help for this. I am wondering about side effects and medicine interactions.

She is 64 but she also has osteoporosis and arthritis in her lower back. The back doctor just prescribed Celebrex, is this the safest drug for her? Also what should people with Hep C do to better care for their liver eventhough so far she seems to have a healthy liver. For the osteoporosis she is on Fosamax. She has been on it for several years. I am just afraid that too many potent drugs can be harmful for her liver.

my gi didnt even know the dose to celebrex so i doubt he knows if its good to my liver! im telling yall hes stupid and i need to find a new dr asap!

Hey Hopey. I was just prescribed Celebrex too!! I'm very anxious to see how well it helps b/c i have constant back pain and have tried several meds that haven't given ANY relief. I started the Celebrex today, 600 mgs. And will take 400 mgs/day after today. The dr DID say it can take a few days to start feeling relief from it.

I have been on methotrexate and celebrex for at least 15 years, probably long. I am currently in a tremendous amount of pain in my fingers, elbows, shoulders, left knee and left hip. Volteran gel has not helped at all and neither has Aleve. Can I take tramadol with these two drugs? I have recently switched my insurance and am waiting to get into a new rheumatologist.

t really that affective for me but my insurance made me try practically every NSAID on the market before they would approve Celebrex. They denied Celebrex and even recommended a PPI (ulcer med) to take with the NSAID's because they didn't want to pay for Celebrex. After they denied me 4 or 5 times, they finally approved it. So now I take 400mg of Celebrex a day and it's a lot more effective than any other NSAID i've been on.

Does anyone take celebrex?I started Prozak last week and they want me to take celebrex too. They say my liver can take it, (stage 2 fibrosis). But I am afraid of the NSAIDs in celebrex, any one else taking it? Oh, I am on Methadone too. I am having my first liver biopsy in the morning, so I will find out more about my liver. I have had a thyroid issue for 9 years and I have dealt with Tinnitus on and off throughout. Last night I woke up with major ringing in my left ear and I would say a 25% loss in hearing. I went to the doctor this morning they do believe it may be caused by the Thyroid since I am way off still on my labwork results. Also, I do notice and I don't know if this is part of it but when I drink alcohol I tend to get the ringing that night and last night I had a glass of wine while out.

No, it would be unheard of for Celebrex to damage your heart valve. Celebrex and similar drugs do cause high blood pressure in many individuals, though. You might have gone forever and not known about the heart valve if you had not gotten high blood pressure from the Celebrex. Follow whatever advice the cardiologist gave you, and don't worry.

hi i have arthritis and i have had 4 joints totally replaced and i am only 35 with no kids. i am having so severe side effects from my med mainy celebrex i have had an heart test and was seen as early polarization , diagnosed with chronic gastrointestinal reflux and have skin rash and legions . i am thinking of a claim against them . but in the main time i dont want my doctors to feel bad as they have been with me since my early twenties.

I have the same problem with my shoulder and did the steroid injection and am on celebrex. I completely understand your fears. I also didnt want to take the celebrex at first because of the scary side effects but in the end the benefits out weigh the risks. You need an antiinflammatory to speed the healing. It won't be needed long term.

Does Tensor Tympani Muscle have any problem and causes hissing and roaring tinnitus in some cases because of muscle tension. And does it cause pressure fullness, ear pain, jaw pain? If i have problem with my inner ear, why should have pain in jaw? In my case jaw pain happens because of middle ear problems.

Try valsalva maneuver (take a deep breath and blow while pinching your nostrils shut and closing your mouth). Tinnitus can also be a psychological problem. Hence get a psychiatric assessment too. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

What you PROBABLY have is a bad case of tinnitus. Tinnitus is the ringing you're hearing and it is associated with loss of hearing, depression, and sleep disturbances. There is no "cure" for tinnitus, but there are treatments. Eating healthy, exercising, keeping busy, and reducing stress can help.

i asked as i suffer with tinnitus...and the last few months tho it is always there..it used to be at bed time or when there was quiet around me..so it was more noticeable..but i had a bump in a car about a month ago and since then it is more aggrivated.. i hope you find the answers your looking for and sorry i couldnt of been of more help..
