celebrex and blood sugar

my gi didnt even know the dose to celebrex so i doubt he knows if its good to my liver! im telling yall hes stupid and i need to find a new dr asap!

Could this have been due to the Celebrex, I have stopped taking it and my blood pressure has returned to 115/60. Cazz...

Tested, blood sugar is fine and I take B12 and Celebrex. The doctor can clearly see swelling and are reluctant to do anything. Degenerative disk disease runs in my family. I've looked at the CTs and can see fuzzy areas and black spots..still you want to tell me nothing is wrong?

Usually happens anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour after I wake up and lasts most of the day. standing and moving around is worse. Internist ran blood tests but did not have any answers.Wants to try med to raise my blood pressure which I wasn't sure about because when I take my bp it tends to be normal or prehypertensive. Trying to figure out if this lightheadedness is due to my neck problems or maybe something else. premenopause? something else?

I don't think it should be an issue, I took Celebrex and Morphine for an extended time with no issue. Ask your doctor about any concerns though.

My two daughters take Celebrex as a person would take Advil here or there and do fine with it .. they both cannot take ibuprofen. My son cannot take it since birth as he gets bad reflux from in .. They make custom made ibuprofen suppositories if you really need a NSAID but cannot do it by mouth and they are wonderful .. you need a compounding pharmacy but my co pay was only $8.00!

Has anyone used Celebrex for their Crohn's? I have severe joint point pain and I have been told that Celebrex is a huge help for this. I am wondering about side effects and medicine interactions.

She is 64 but she also has osteoporosis and arthritis in her lower back. The back doctor just prescribed Celebrex, is this the safest drug for her? Also what should people with Hep C do to better care for their liver eventhough so far she seems to have a healthy liver. For the osteoporosis she is on Fosamax. She has been on it for several years. I am just afraid that too many potent drugs can be harmful for her liver.

Hey Hopey. I was just prescribed Celebrex too!! I'm very anxious to see how well it helps b/c i have constant back pain and have tried several meds that haven't given ANY relief. I started the Celebrex today, 600 mgs. And will take 400 mgs/day after today. The dr DID say it can take a few days to start feeling relief from it.

hi i have arthritis and i have had 4 joints totally replaced and i am only 35 with no kids. i am having so severe side effects from my med mainy celebrex i have had an heart test and was seen as early polarization , diagnosed with chronic gastrointestinal reflux and have skin rash and legions . i am thinking of a claim against them . but in the main time i dont want my doctors to feel bad as they have been with me since my early twenties.

I have been on methotrexate and celebrex for at least 15 years, probably long. I am currently in a tremendous amount of pain in my fingers, elbows, shoulders, left knee and left hip. t really that affective for me but my insurance made me try practically every NSAID on the market before they would approve Celebrex. They denied Celebrex and even recommended a PPI (ulcer med) to take with the NSAID's because they didn't want to pay for Celebrex. After they denied me 4 or 5 times, they finally approved it. So now I take 400mg of Celebrex a day and it's a lot more effective than any other NSAID i've been on.

Trending some of my past test they seem to have been creeping up since May and June of 2014 when I started Nexium 40mg daily for GERD and Celebrex 200mg daily for arthritis. I went to the doc today and he gave me my results....my blood sugar is 217. I knew that this would happen again but I wanted it to wait another month or two.
