Also they told me to take 50mg of Benadryl to stop the itching. My reaction is to the penicillin found in the Cefdinir tablets. I have taken the steroid and finished a few days ago. About 4 weeks after these spots appeared, my genitals started to itch, however this was also when the weather became much warmer. The itching is never on the head of the penis where the spots are, and is instead mainly on the shaft of the penis, which is also quite sensitive, or around the anus or scrotum, usually where there is pubic hair. I dont actually know if the spots and the itching are related at all. Does this sound anything like HPV? Should I get tested?
