green vaginal discharge is a sign of Trichomoniasis, which is an STD caused by bacteria. To my knowledge this is the only infection that causes green discharge. Wear cotton underwear as much as possible and maintain proper hygiene.

Bacterial vaginosis is the most common cause of abnormal vaginal odor and discharge. It is caused by a change in the type of bacteria found in the vagina.
The exact cause for the change in type of bacteria is still not known, but it is can be due to IUD’s,multiple sex partners or having intercourse with a new partner.
In addition to unpleasant "fishy" vaginal odor, thin white or yellowish discharge from vagina may also be present.
You need to have either direct genital skin to skin contact (or oral to genital) to transmit, or mouth to genital, genital to genital, or genital to anal penetration.
You might get a yeast infection, or staph or MRSA though. Those live longer outside a human host. None of those would cause a green discharge, though. I wouldn't overly worry about this. I can't think of a vaginal infection that causes a green discharge.
Next time, maybe wear underwear.

There is alot of discharge, I have had to start wearing a panty liner. There is usually alot of discharge. I have taken three rounds of Vandazole. This doesn't change a thing. I guess the color is kinda white or light yellow. It doesn't really have a smell except when I have had a pad on for a while I can smell it. My main concern is that there is alot and it is so very sticky. It pulls hair out when I take my panties off. What should I do? Is it menopause? Hormone imbalance?
Antibiotics for a yeast infection are contra-indicated as they are one of the CAUSES of yeast overgrowth and candida.
How did your doctor know the 2nd time that the yeast infection was transformed to bacterial vaginosis? Not sure about this.
I know that BV even if treated with antibiotics can recur.
Lab tests on a sample of vaginal fluid can determine if BV is present or not.
You may still have an untreated yeast infection.

ok ive been having a vaginal discharge for over a month now, i thought it was nothing..... then it went from white to yellow then from yellow to green and there is a very strong odour too..... before this happened i had, had with someone and a week or to it popped up.... i have been tested but am still waiting for the results but am curious t o see what it could be??
