If he is seeing a GI doctor, you're not getting the answers you need and I would seek a second opinion with another Ped. GI specialist. This is their field and they know best. Would a mild bilirubin elevation cause stomach pains like gas bloating nausea? My bilirubin was 1.5 and my stomachs been acting up. I was taking antibiotics and after all my stomach pains began. I also ready its harmless if alt is normal and other liver function test are normal for me, only mild bilirubin. Now I was prescribed Pepcid for stomach acid and I'm scared to take them because I don't want my numbers to rise.

Since yesterday I have had very uncomfortable pains in my stomach, sometimes when I move into a different position I get shooting pains in my belly and if a certain amount of pressure is put in my belly it hurts, I haven't had any bleeding but still worried and unsure what it could be. Also I'm wondering if it could be constipation? Before becoming pregnant I had regular toilet movements but now I'm finding it very difficult to go and even break wind, could these pains be related?

I am still having problems with the bloating and abdominal pain although it has lessened, and I have an appointment with another gastro for the end of June. However, do any of you have any idea what else could cause ulcers in my colon? I have read that Crohn's is commonly associated with ulcers in the terminal ileum, but wouldn't that have come up in the biopsy? Why would the doctor just blow it off like that? I have had occasional sharp pains in my to part of my lungs ,shortness of breath, tightning of my chest, mild sore throat and some indigestion problems for about a year. I can run 3 miles without a problem. I have normal bowels and eat well and sleep well. I have no unusual stress but this particular medical one. Any thoughts??

Thanks for your prompt reply. My son is being tested for Crohn's because of the joint pain and in the past he had stomach pains and diarhhoea. Like me, the gastroenterologist he is seeing at the moment does not believe he has Crohn's because he has not lost weight, still has good appetite and the diarhhoea and stomach pains have settled dwon. This morning he had a small bowel series done and the results were nromal.

Stomach acids coming up in the esophagus can be very painful and damage esophageal tissue. A hiatal hernia can cause pain with anything that causes pressure in that upper stomach/chest area. Depending on her personality and temperment she may have an anxiety problem. Some kids hang onto their poop as a way of being in control of something when everything else is out of control. When they are full of poop, the tummy and everything else hurts, bad gas really hurts. Good luck!

And both have mild flu like symptoms They were prescribed Nizonide O and Rablet by physician? Is it safe? It could be that he penetrated you too deeply, if he has a large size penis, and you are small (sometimes it doesnt matter if you are small or big) and he penetrates deeply and roughly, especially when you are not ready to recieve him fully, that causes pain..

From the age of 11, I have been getting severe stomach pains just under the ribs which last for one to two hours. The pains have never been predictalble and I have no idea what sets them off. I am 23 now and I'm getting sick and tired of the problem. The pain is on the left one time and the right at other times. Where are the pains exactly? I'm having intense stomach pains from the top of my naval to the top of my stomach and they are refrerring it to GERD (Acid Reflux Disease). I'd go see your GI and see if they can do an upper endoscopy on you. I'm going in on the 3rd to for one to see if I have GERD or a peptic ulcer. Drink a lot of water and a very bland diet (toast with peanut butter).
