Did you get bloated in early early pregnancy (like a month or so) IF so where did you experience this bloating? In your upper stomach like right below your breasts OR down below your belly button. I am currently experiencing bloating/pressure in both area and was wondering if this was normal? Oh and another thing My dad is painting the house so how harmful is it for me to be around the paint vapors?

And now I am sure taking an Original Alka Seltzer, perhaps near bedtime, will help keep that acid down and also release gas, which generally causes bloating. The SOURCE of all this is the problem, and what a doc really should stay on top of until something makes it stop. I went to a gastroenterologist who conducted a colonoscopy and discovered 2 ulcers in the terminal ileum portion of my colon. Instead of following-up with me afterwards, the doctor sent me a letter stating that the biopsy of the ulcers showed no signs of Ulcerative Colitis or any other cause for my periods of alternating constipation and diarrhea (this episode was not the first). When I called the office, they told me that no f/u was needed.

My stomach seems to get bloated and sticks out intermittently. It causes shortness of breath and anxiety. The shortness of breath is very frightening. I have been to the Doctor, but of course, Im never bloated when Im at the Doctors office. Antacids dont help much, and it goes away after a couple of hours, only to return without warning, and isnt related to whether or nor Ive eaten.

I was diagnoesd with the gastritis last year via physical exam according to my symstoms like bloating and stomach pain never don an endoscopy i was on and off for PPI (omeprazole and pantoprazole) but never get healed.. Then after that my gp ask for ultrasounds scan and they found multiple stone.. But a bit curios my stomach symptoms are differnt fron gallstone symptoms normally gallstone symptoms are pain in right under the ribcage which is never had that pain..
For the past couple months I have noticed that at times I get a bloated feeling in my upper stomach. In the early part of this year (around February) I had a Upper GI because I was having feelings of something stuck in my throat. The upper GI came back showing mild to moderate acid reflux and other than that everything looked normal. Lately I have been having other issues such as shortness of breath and excessive burping that would release this shortness of breath.
Since August of 2010 I've had chest pain, difficulty breathing, incredible stomach bloating/distention (even after just drinking a glass of water), burping, reflux, and heartburn. My main concern is the bloating and difficulty breathing. I can barely function on a day to day basis. I eat little bites all day long because I can't eat a full meal or I start hyperventilating. Hi I have pain behind my breastbone and slightly to the left side under my ribs, with excess gas and bloating to my stomach. I have also have heartburn occasionally. This has got progressively worse in the past year since having an endoscopy which found nothing untoward other than inflammation due to excess stomach acid.
