Just curious, if the ultrasound for an ovarian cyst comes back positive do you know if there is anything that they can do to stop the bladder pressure/frequent urination? Have you talked with your GYN or urologist about what (if any) treatments exist for the cysts? Thanks.
I don't know what is going on, but I have frequent urination with no burning at all. This time my Dr. placed me on ampicillin, and it has been 3 days and I am still have the urgency to go to the rest room too often.. I am drinking surgar free canberry juice from time to time while on the antibiotics and I take a thyroid pill as well as a diurectic pill all prescribed by the same doctor.. What is it that I am doing wrong. This is not a good feeling at all , very irritating.
from what i'm learning, progesterone is a natural diuretic and in early pregnancy causes many trips to the bathroom b/c of this. Also, in early pregnancy, estrogen soars to an all time high, causing tender breasts. progesterone is also known to cause stuffy nose and headaches. I'm currently using progesterone cream (not pregnant) and the cream has amazing benefits but also causes headache, stuffy nose and frequent urination.
This symptom may start as early as six weeks into your first trimester. Frequent urination will continue – or intensify – as your pregnancy progresses. Your blood volume rises dramatically during pregnancy, which leads to extra fluid being processed and ending up in your bladder. The problem is compounded as your growing baby exerts more pressure on your bladder. 6. Fatique Feeling tired all of a sudden? (No, make exhausted.
Many women experience them within days of conception, others take a few weeks before pregnancy symptoms kick in and a lucky few feel no discomfort at all. The early pregnancy symptoms listed on this page generally can be felt once implantation occurs (8-10 days from ovulation) and will lessen after the first trimester. It is frustrating to realize that many pregnancy symptoms are very similar to those that occur right before menstruating.
Hello ladies! So I'm curious to know, what were your early pregnancy symptoms that got you thinking? :) Mine was Acne (I rarely get it!), Extremely moody! (Yelled at hubby in the grocery store cuz he couldn't decide on what chips he wanted! Lol!) A dramatic increase in discharge & pulling pains in my uterus. (Not fun!) & the crazy thing is, the time I'm actually pregnant we were like nah probably not no need to test. & then bam! Missed period & BFP! Anybody else?
My daughter is a cosmetologist and she told me the topo causes the hair follicles to close. What has fallen out, wont grow back, but the hair loss should stop when you discontinue the drug. The Topo really messed up my cycle too. I think my adrenals took a hard hit from just two weeks on the drug. For me it was not worth it. I was stupid, depressed and started having panic attacks on it. I would loose blocks of time. Huge blocks.
However, over the last week I have been experiencing frequent urination, fatigue, nausea (with and without smells being the cause), and my breasts are covered in very visable blue veins and are very sore and sensitive. I have taken a pregnancy test and the result was negative, but I am concerned due to the fact it's been over five weeks since bleeding at all and three weeks since my IUD insertion. Anyone have similar experience? Were you pregnant?
Every month i have symptoms like breast tenderness, tiredness, digestive problems, bloating and twinges in lower abdomen for about a week prior to my period. All of these symptoms resemble early pregnancy symptoms.Since i have been ttc,it becomes very difficult for me to understand during the two week wait.Kindly share your opinions.
if in doubt you could ask for a blood test, you cant assume a miscarriage when you dont even know you were pregnant.there are many causes for early period, including an early ovulation.so no one can answer this question for you.symptoms can start any time, ive been pregnant 8 times and symptoms can start as early as 4 weeks.I would honestly advice you to speak with your doctor,if your concerned in any way.best of luck.
I have had frequent urination and I'm tired a lot a little nausea here and there too. Has anyone here that has posted actually had a positive test and been pregnant or is this possibly just another side affect? I am really worried I already care for 4 children. 3 of my own and 1 that is my sister. My sister is 12 and my children are 7, 4, & 2. I'm worried I don't want to lose a child and I also don't want to have another cesarean.
Nausea and vomiting usually occus in the 2nd month, frequent urination doesn't usually occur until later in the pregnancy when the baby is big enough to put pressure on your bladder, also you can't feel a baby moving until about 20 weeks (5 months) into the pregnancy and this is called quickening. I can't remember what else there was that i wanted to comment on.. but i may post another after i look over your comments again.. hope this helps!
but, lately since last 10 days i started having severe menstrual pains and then symptoms like nausea, sleeplessness during nights, extreme tiredness during the day, frequent urination, hair loss, breast tenderness and the strange thing is - my PG test came Negative which i took at the clinic on 11th of OCT. another thing that bothers me is that i feel pretty much heaviness & stiffness in my lower abdomin with a thin brown coloured line starting from my naval piont further going downwards.
like I mean this is personal and I had a feeling I was miscarring deep down but was hopeful I would be wrong and did not want to tell people until 3 months had passed cause then chances were high that the pregnancy was fine according to books at 3 months and who reveals they are pregnant that early anyways? I personally never heard anyone reveal that until 2 months have past at least.
I'm experiencing PMS cramps a bit and I was wondering if sore nipples are automatically symptoms for pregnancy cause I read around here on MedHelp and they all said it was an early pregnancy symptom. Could this be a sign for PMS too and not just pregnancy?????
• Unusual or abnormal period • Strange Cravings • Enlargement of the Breasts • Skin Changes • Frequent Urination • Fatigue • Nausea and Vomiting • Missed period • Bloating of the abdomen • Darkening of the skin around the nipples • Stretch Mark or you can buy pregnancy test to be sure of are you feeling for.
I got so big with my seconds son who was all baby during the pregnancy. I gained 26 lbs and at 3wks early he was 10lbs 8oz. I lost every bit plus some after having him but the terrifying thing was that because of his size I was close to a uterine tear. We have to extra careful this time and doc already warning me that later in pregnancy I may find myself confined to bedrest. Becca323 - those are high pulse rates.
I have been having symptoms of pregnancy (tender nipples, emotional, and frequent urination) but I am not going to stress over it. My doctor will be able to tell me for sure. I have to wait 2 more weeks though. I will try not to think about to much! Hmmm...Key word, TRY! Good luck to those trying and I hope you get pregnant soon!

Alot of women have low amounts of HCG hormone in their urine, especially early in pregnancy. So, it may very well be an implantation bleed. Call the doc, and get the bloodwork done. Also, I know the tests say use urine at anytime, but it is best to go ahead and wait till the first urine in the a.m. Good Luck!
How reliable is that result since I usually have such a normal cycle? I don't have any other symptoms besides frequent urination and butterflies in my stomach that could just be from the excitement of the whole situation. So I guess my question is whether or not it is "worth it" to take another pregnancy test; if so, when; or, what else could even be the cause of such a delay in my usually predictable period? Thanks for any comments, etc! Katie L.
I went to the doctor Monday and he says I most likely had an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in an early miscarriage. I was only 3-4 weeks along. I had a sonogram done yesterday to make sure it was a complete miscarriage. Everything looked normal, so its assumed my body just reabsorbed it.
I am about 4 days late, and I am never late. My cycle is usually 26-28 days long, which means (6 or 4 days late) I took a home pregnancy test a couple of days ago in the afternoon and it was negative but the line was very faint. So I took a new test this morning when I woke up and it was negative again; I bought a different test and the line was visible, however I have not gotten my period yet and I don't feel like I will.
For women that have had an HCG injection as part of their infertility treatment, the hormone will take about 5-14 days to clear from the woman's system, depending on the dose and the individual woman. This can causes problems with interpretation of pregnancy tests done earlier than 14 days after an HCG injection." You can read more if you like at http://www.advancedfertility.com/earlypre.htm.
I began having mild symptoms, and then in the last three days I have sore breasts/nipples, nipples darker, frequent urination, nausea, certain smells make me sick, extreme fatigue, irrational crying, headaches, and slight cramping in my stomach. Every hpt is negative, and the yes/no blood test the dr. gave me was negative @ 8 days late. This is driving me nuts! Will the blood test which measures hcg levels give an accurate answer? I go in tomorrow for this test.
A friend on mine got pregnant when she had the copper IUD, but it ended up being a tubal pregnancy. When I had mine I did research and there are quite a few people that have gotten pregnant while it was still in. Have you checked the string to see if it's still in place? You said that your last AF was the beging of Oct? How many days late are you? In most cases you can take the test the first day of missed Af. But the longer you wait the more chances of getting a correct answer.
LOL My doctor says to wait til I am a month late, and he will refer me to the early pregnancy clinic - he hasn't said anything about a blood test. We've already got 2 boys 14 & 7, and we would love to have another - I had a few miscarraiges between the boys and another last year. So, an internal exam is out of the question - just in case. I wish I knew either way, and if I'm not pregnant, then I've obviously got something wrong, not been under any stress or unwell or anything like that.
