cat throw up liquid

Other than throwing up, she acts normally, she is eating and drinking normally. The throw up is a brown liquid and she usually throws up during the night as we find it when we get up in the mornings. There is no smell to the vomit. Is this something serious?

He sometimes will throw up after eating his food if he doesnt chew it enough. Any way tonight I came home from work and he had throw at least 4 diff. times in diff spots. It is brown and liquid like and doesnt seem to have food mixed in with it. Also he usually hops in bed with me but has been sitting by the door to go outside which is unusual. I have also noticed a lump or pouch type thing in his lower abdomen which I made an apt. for at the vet to have checked.

Hello, My cat has been throwing up a brown very watery liquid for the past few days. He will go maybe a whole day and not throw up at all but then overnight we find that he's thrown up 4 or 5 times. He still drinks his water and eats his food and seems his normal self but i'm worried there might be something else wrong. Oh, this morning in his vomit was a lot of little white pecks maybe a little larger than grains of salt or sugar. Thnx any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like it is based lower in his stomach, in other words not a hairball because he would be more likely to throw up undigested food if so. Your kitty sounds like he is vomiting after he has digested everything. Sorry, no ideas, but it does sound worth the vet consult.

My cat occasionally would eat too much or not chew her food well enough and then she would throw up. Just occasionally though. But recently she started (she's done it twice now) throwing up and throwing up and throwing up. I mean it'll be food at first and then after a while it's just liquid. I switched her food to a Purina One Sensitive Systems and she stopped doing it and hadn't thrown up at all since...until the other night.

what could be the reason a person throws up there liquid.... they pretty well hold down there food, but throws or should i say "spits' up all of the liquid that is being intaked...

Find some type of food or liquid that fits you and help ease nausea. With my first I drank lemon lime Gatorade and ate fries and it will always help and I was sick my entire pregnancy, like horrible. But there were times I used zofran. You should ask your doctor for some they're miracles!

we brought him home 2 days ago and applied the Revolution and he is on an antibiotic. He continues to throw up but seems fine otherwise. Because he had worms so bad the vet wants to give him another treatment of the Revolution, He is on dry cat food and water. He begs for food all the time and we cannot leave food out on the counter as he is (dumpster diving) here in the kitchen. I am very concerned about the throwing up. so yesterday i was eating a bowl of top ramen chicken flavor soup and i was coughing more then usual that day. and about 20 minutes after eating the soup i continue to cough and eventually throw up. i through up all the soup along with this black liquid. ive had no stomach pains or any other symptoms. yes I have read chinchillas can not throw up, but I just watched it happen. I wonder if he got scared because fireworks are going off for past few nights and counting and he don't seem to like them. Have you changed her food lately? It could be as simple as that. But her continuing to throw up her food and lose wt could be a sign of something more serious. Have you considered taking her to another vet?

So Ever since ive been taking my iron pills I throw them up on most days, I cant take them with water or apple juice. The doctor told me to drink them with orange juice.. .they also told me to take them on an empty stomach But, thats just worst considering I have to take 2 iron pills now since I came low on iron. My cat throws up occasionally too. When I brought this up with the vet about 2 years ago she said my cat was probably eating too fast. Said she could run a lot of tests and probably not have a definite answer as to why she was doing it. So I slowed her down and it seemed to help but she would still occasionally do it. This started almost a month ago (it will be a month in 4 days). When she did eat, she would throw it up almost instantly. Or, petroleum jelly(that's the main ingredient in these remedies). If you give him petroleum jelly-human formula-make sure that you read the ingredients. You ONLY want it to say petroleum or petrolatum. If it has any other ingredient do not use it.
