Common Questions and Answers about Cat broken leg symptoms

Once she was diagnosed I became obsessed in finding information and other cat owners in the same position as me --- to no avail.
Sorry to hear about your symptoms. From your description, it doesn't sound like the symptoms are from parkinson's nor do they appear to be characteristic of MS, although it could still be a possibility. A formal neurological exam that shows objective findings consistent with weakness or sensory changes as well as any other clinical deficit would help point towards an appropriate diagnostic workup.

My cat, Mitzi, makes a terrible grinding sound since she had her teeth cleaned 5 days ago. Took her back to vet who decided to remove a tooth that might be causing the trouble. This meant anesthesia twice in 3 days. She wouldn't eat, so I've brought her home. She tried to eat but the grinding sound is still there. She takes a tiny bite and starts shaking her head and making this sound. She is 17 - she was eating perfectly before the dental cleaning.
My vibration is apparently in exactly the same location as yours is. You sound like you are describing my leg exactly. I have no other symptoms, no eye twitch, no back pain, and no really stressful job. I wondered if it were hormones or the extra 20# i carry cutting off circulation or nerves. I am active and healthy and only in my early 40s. My vibration feels like someone letting air out of an inflated balloon rapidly in 2-10 second intervals.
Throughout the next year, I started getting other symptoms--I would get sharp pains rushing up my leg once and a while if I stepped farther out than normal, and sometimes my leg would get a jolt of pain. I dealt with it this past year but finally decided to mention it again to my doctor, since the symptoms have changed and I have become worried because the area it's affecting it getting bigger.
I know it's no broken leg, and having broken limbs before, I must say it had the 'tang' of a broken pain, but did not feel broken at all. I could put some pressure on it at the time, but trying to walk could at times reduce me to tears (I've broken my arm twice. Both times... well, let's say I'm resistant to broken bone pain. I wouldn't say immune to broken leg pain, but... I could walk on it. It was horrible. It was awful. It was...well...
I was diagnosed with graves disease in 2002, but my thyroid levels have balanced out and and I am no longer taking PCU. I have been suffering from leg pain mainly right leg, but will sometimes switch to left leg or both at the same time. The leg pain usually occurs out of no where, the cold only makes it worst. The pain is often so painful that it is unbearable to walk. I remember have this leg pain as far back as 7yrs old.
debilitating fatigue, muscle weakness, severe headaches, mouth sores, severe digestive problems and bloating, equilibrium problems and word-finding difficulty. I do have periods when I feel good but sooner or later the symptoms always resurface.
With all the sites out there that have info on Vitamin D, their just doesn't seem to be one that has all the symptoms that can accompany vitamin d deficiency. I'm going to list my symptoms, so that others may have some insight, in layman's terms. I hope anyone else with the deficiency would also post theirs.
I had mine inserted this past Feb. I just started having the exact same symptoms. I am going to take a hpt. Let me know if you find out whats causing your problems.
I haven't thought of any connection of her leg pains to it though. I've just been looking for answers to the leg pain, but I am open to any suggestions or avenues to persue. Does anyone have any advice for relief for these leg pains in the meantime? What has anyone else tried, sucessfully or not?
I have so many of the same symptoms numbness (all on left side) face, arm, leg, foot, hand. I have left sided shoulder pain, hip pain, leg pain, buttock pain, tenderness, and weakness. I cannot even lift a gallon of milk from the frig. I have had MRI of brain, neck, and low back ALL NEGATIVE I have had and continue to have blood work regularly checking for anything my GP can think of.
Here it is Feb 21st almost the 22nd and I am still with the leg and foot pain. A cat scan has been done and so far all of the results have showed nothing, not a nerve hiiting a screw,,, nerve hitting the cage,,,,On Meds Tram, Oxy, Tizanadine, and Neurontin. No matter how they are taken, there is still pain, shooting hot pain, very bad muscle spasms, feet hurt after walking. knee gives out, never know when this is going to happen. Have to walk steps using both feet. VERY distessed at this point.
You were not specific on the symptoms you experience, but my guess is that when you exercise you don't drink water, or you sweat to excess. This will dehydrate you and you will lose salt and other minerals. You can experience shaking of the hands, visual disturbances, headaches, stomach aches, stitches in the sides, exhaustion, low grade temps and other unpleasant symptoms. If this is the case, try drinking a fluid that has minerals in it like Cytomax.
Thank you for this tale of the good work you do on behalf of what is (as you say) our responsibility for these creatures that were bred to human purposes and then discarded. Tis a reason why I support the local feral cat rescue and a few other cat related groups and shelters.
I am having some bizarre symptoms for about 5 weeks now. My dentist found elevated bp at a routine appointment, which I thought was strange, since I had a complete cardiological workup in January (echocardiogram, holter monitor, 24 hr monitor, ekg, stress/echo test, blood work, carotid doppler) and a ct scan and u/s of the abdomen and pelvis. The only thing showing up on the ct was diverticulosis which i've had for years.
I am on the small side 5'2 and 112 lbs so its not like I have alot of insulation on me, however, I burn up some nights and other nights my hands and feet are like ice cubes. It's so crazy. I tell everyone that my thermostat is broken so my body temp. will always be off. I have had the cold spot on my left cheek and right forearm, feels strangely cold but to touch it ... it is warm. I had a couple of weeks of a dry cough that only happened as soon as I got into bed to go to sleep. I just keep thinking to how dry my mouth was, now I find out how many people experience during ARS. I don't think its a coincidence my mouth was as dry as it ever has been 2.5wks after I had protected sex with this person. She sabotoged me. She lied to me. I know she gave me HIV. I'm getting pissed off again.
I can be tired after 12 hours sleep! Can I be suffering symptoms from my thallassemia. Does any one else feel the same way that I do? This is a little bit hard for me, but I don't want to complain.
I was only out of work for 2 weeks and during that time was somewhat out and about. symptoms of a new illness presented in March, starting with a canker sore, and progressing to flu like symptoms. I noticed greenish/brown mucus and tooth pain and went to doctor for an anti-biotic (I think Bactrim). I took the antibiotic which seemed to clear up what I thought was a sinus infection but I still wasn't feeling better and my glands were very swollen (they still are too a degree).

Before I tell can tell you can you tell me the probem. One doctor told me I haveBack Pain with Sciatica, Hematuria and he went on im his notes I have MS and the MS is called Arthralgia and Muscle problem.
I have pain in lower back on left side, left hip pain, left pelvic pain and pain down the left leg at times. It comes and goes. Gets real bad,(when I put weight on left leg) then can ease up within minutes with changing position. I had similar trouble when I was about 30 but it went away. Any ideas? I am 47 now.
I talked to my neuro about this and he said I should go see a rhemotaulogist if my symptoms really bother me. Since then I googled up these symptoms and I think I may have fibromyalgia. I even started to press on my tender points and some of them do hurt when I press on them. My question is, should I go ahead and see the rhuemotologist or do you think these bodywide muscle pains is attributable to anxiety? I am 23/male and have become extremely depressed since this whole health scare started.
Left arm would tingle and somewhat hurt near my elbow and wrist. Also felt like I was losing little feeling in my left leg. Breathing felt like was not right. Suddenly I remembered I had been bit by a tck in August. I pulled it out of my leg. It was itching that's how I found it. Don't think I ever had the rash but I did get a rash on my body in random spots that went away. Called dr and they said yes my symptoms do reassemble lymes. Test came back negative.
I am really having a hard time right now as I was recently assaulted and received a broken leg. Depression and anxiety are encompassing me. I feel so sad for you all yet so relieved that we aren't alone and have a safe forum like this to help each other. We aren't claiming to be doctors just sharing from experience and the heart.
Beta was done 11 days past ET and I got a BFP!!! Try not to worry to much, alot of people say they feel no symptoms at all and still get a BFP. Best of luck to you.
The problem is sometimes those pregnancy symptoms are an awful lot like period symptoms (it's a bummer that nature works that way). But either way, I started having sore breasts and slight nausea within about a week or so after my IUI. The IUI worked and I did get pregnant... so although everyone is different, the symptoms started rather early for me. We'll cross our fingers for you and hopefully you'll have some good news in a week or so!
My family gets the same illness as well, EXACT symptoms, exact smells. and it usually is contagious. Very strange. But horrible. We have a cat and I'm trying to rule out toxoplasmosis. reaching at straws. Wife had illness for 3 weeks straight while bedridden with a broken leg and screwed up her stomach/esophagus for about a month to where she couldn't drink water because it burned so bad. She continues to eat beef.
absolutely,A stray came around my house and was limping with a huge infection on the leg from fighting and I gave the cat some antibiotics I had for a tooth abcess.Cleared it up in 5 days! Give a little from the capsule twice a day, very little. Each human capsule should last 2 days with a cat. google the antibiotics you have and put it in like this. CLindimycin for cats.
