Avatar m tn Allergic to something not cat ...are you using a different detergent, cream soap other materials in clothing.
Avatar f tn ve always struggled with. so my question is does this sound like allergies or something else?
Avatar f tn s possible that you have something else bothering your allergic system a little bit and that, on top of the cats, is making you more sensitive to the cats.
Avatar f tn There is a solution called allerpet-c that pet stores should carry, if not it is available over the internet. It is a liquid solution you rub on the cat and it helps to denature some of the cat dander. Works wonders for me, defintely have more symptoms when the cats are due to be washed. Vaccuum a lot and groom the cat regularly outside to help keep the hair down in the house.

Avatar f tn Not from sometiing a year ago and maybe its something you caused by masturbation.
Avatar f tn Sniffles, I think you got that name regarding the allergies eh? First off, if your friend don't mind, make sure the cats can be brushed. You might or might not know this, but it's not the hair that we are allergic to, it's the cat's saliva. They clean themselves with the saliva and then it gets on the hair. So it's not just the cat/s, it's anything the cat licks or gets the hair after it cleans itself on. Brushing the cat before and after visits will help.
Avatar m tn It could also be allergies from something else, such as fleas, flea bites or dust. This is harder to determine and may have to be discovered by a vet. If they feel that is the reason, they can give the cat a shot that will temporarily relieve the itching for about a month. This will give the wounds time to heal, and then you would know that the issue is allergies, but then finding out what the cat is allergic to is the hard part... but your situation sounds like the cat is stressed out.
