So it's not just the cat/s, it's anything the cat licks or gets the hair after it cleans itself on. Brushing the cat before and after visits will help.

Hi, my cat started to loose weight and go bald and scabby on his ears a couple of weeks ago, he's been to the vets who gave him intibiotics which have done nothing. The baldness is now spreading across his head and down his neck and he seems to have a really hot head/ be burning up in the evenings. I've read about mange on several websites and they all seem to say that it is incredibly itchy but he hasn't once scratched at it.
