Avatar f tn I am not sure why you are getting this low calorie count. Maybe you have put in a lot of weight and need to reduce your calorie count drastically. What I can suggest is that bring down your calories slowly. The decrease in calorie count should be such that it should not keep you hungry, or expect drastic changes in food habits from you. Also slowly increase the exercise levels especially aerobics to burn more calories.

Late night snacking and poor sleep too can cause weight gain. Certain medications like antidepressants cause weight gain. If all these causes are ruled out then you can start a diet and exercise program to lose weight.

Bread and pasta made from whole grains are also very healthy. There are 2 types of carbs: simple carbs are those found in sugary foods, white breads and regular pasta, sodas, etc. Simple carbs are broken down quickly and if not used right away for energy, will be stored as fat. These are the ones that should be avoided.
