My issue is when I eat a load of carbs, it hits up to 3 days later and I can't hardly get out of bed and am weak most of the day. Everything I read about Carb Intolerance says that fatigue usually hits within the first few hours. Has anyone else experienced this? Carb crash, a day or days after the carbs are eaten?

There are many all over the place look for one near you. You will find many tips on wd how to ease it.. A person really has to want to get clean and have a Positive mindset.. you really have to want it for yourself... I wish you and yours the very best Brokenheart..

I would look for some sort of group help where your daughter can see others her age with similar problems and get into group talks. Also mental health dept. often have what is known as behavioral health, This is where a patient can work one on one with some one who best deals with this sort of thing.

Avatar n tn Thanks for the clarification. Tell you mom to stay away from fad diets and gimmick ads on diabetes. They just don't work. If it sounds too good to be true it's a scam, and hoo-boy there lots of them on the Internet and magazines. What does work is proper nutrition, daily [3-4 times a week] exercise like you're late for a departing plane, and maintaining proper weight. She just needs to work on the latter two. I wish her good health.

So basically, this is what I got from it- fresh vegtables, fresh fruits, lean meats, most nuts, NO LACTOSE, NO SUGAR (except in fruits and honey), and NO STARCHES. Is this about right?
