But yes, quinine if present can cause allergic reactions.You should consult an allergy specialist and get yourself tested for allergies to ingredients of colas so that you can avoid them in other food stuffs too. Because I am a night person, i go to bed about 1-1:30 am everyday, I wake up at 8. The problem is that everyday, about 2 hours after falling asleep I am waking up to eat, drink, sometimes 3 times a night. I eat about 3 meals a day, with some snacks between them sometimes. I am 30 years old and exercise 3 times a week.

Do you run long distance? Do you eat before you run? Are you taking enough water? Do you run in hot temperatures? All the above can have adverse effects on your bowels. Are you drinking coffee? When you run your guts get a real hammering in the way that they move around a lot.

Personally, I take a mega vitamin along with a trace element supplement called Micro Max. I've taken it for 20 years after seeing what the animal version, Source did for my sister's horses.
