You want to use low sodium canned (you can rinse them off) or frozen, etc. Dogs always did okay on this until we got them at the weight they should have been on.

You can eat green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, squash of all kinds, tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, corn (watch the peas and corn because of starch). It sounds like you might not be getting nearly enough protein. While peanut butter is an excellent food to provide protein, 1 tsp is not nearly enough. So basically, this is what I got from it- fresh vegtables, fresh fruits, lean meats, most nuts, NO LACTOSE, NO SUGAR (except in fruits and honey), and NO STARCHES. Is this about right?
