Although it may be a pain to have to get prescriptions for certain obvious things like insulin and syringes, I do think it is important for people with diabetes to see their doctors at least once a year, even if it is just for routine bloodwork. I see my diabetes doctor every 3 months just so I can check my A1C and I've had diabetes for 39 years. Don't neglect your health just because of politics.
Many discussions here on HCV, high blood sugar, IR, type II Diabetes. Here's an interesting article adding to the growing body of knowledge that suggest a significant downside of over-treatment.. Obviously, these are important conditions and hopefully people will neither be under or over-treated and will seek out the best available medical advice as well as stay on top of the topic themselves to challenge their doc's knowledge as appropriate.
Hmmm, it seems to me they would try to attack someplace besides New York since they know everyone is watching them for that. I also dont think they will do anything on the day of the anniversary...they know everyone is expecting it...

My understanding is that an HBV/diabetes mellitus connection or association was not found whereas an association with HCV and diabetes was found. It's HCV that seems to be the factor according to this article - if I am reading it right.
No. HbA1C of 6.2% is well within the normal limits of all Diabetic association guidelines. Also Fasting Blood Sugar of 88mg/dL is normal.
This is in case if he is not on any anti-diabetic medication. Otherwise I would call it well controlled Diabetes.
Allthough an assessment if he has Pre-diabetes needs to be done by his body weight and OGTT test.
