zyrtec

Avatar f tn You can ask any pharmacist and they can assist you with what is safe and fits your symptoms.
Avatar f tn After 12weeks you can take plain sudafed decongestant as needed as directions say on the box. Tylenol cold and sinus can also be taken after 12 weeks. Plain regular strength tylenol can be taken at any point in pregnancy .
Avatar f tn I've never had allergies of any kind. Then I noticed my nose was runny sometimes. Sneezing some. Nothing alarming. Then I woke up and was having trouble swallowing - felt like something was stuck in my throat. Doc said there was tons of drainage - the diagnosis: allergies. I started zyrtec and flonase, and got a HEPA air purifier. I've had that for about 2 weeks. Annnd now I've developed ear infections in BOTH ears due to the allergies, even taking all that and with the filter.
Avatar f tn I have really bad allergies and can usually get away with just Zyrtec but this year they are way worse and my doc told me to switch it up and try Claritin or Allegra the Allegra seems to work the best when I also take a sudafed but don't take the combo one just plan Allegra and plain sudafed.
Avatar f tn My nose is so stuffy, ive sneezed probably over 100 times (no lie), I habe an ear ache and a headache! And idk what to take since im not 12 weeks yet.
Avatar f tn My docs list says one benadryl a day is safe.. also you can take sudafed, zyrtec or claratin also. If you get a lot of mucus you are allowed to take the plain mucinex. I've personally used mucinex and zyrtec. Also, only regular tylenol is safe. I hope you feel better!
Avatar f tn Zyrtec, tylenol cold and sinus, Sudafed
Avatar f tn U can take sudafed.... Go the the web site www.colic.com....
Avatar f tn Don't take anything. Nothing is proven to be safe for the baby. My doc told me I could take tylanol if I wanted bit I didn't like the tone in his voice...so I just stuck with water and lemon or decaffeinated tea.
216239 tn?1233257361 benadryl is good, and will dry you up... if you are sneezing and stuffy, take sudafed, it has to be the regular staight sudafed, it can not be sudafed PE, my RE and ob gyn told me the sudafed PE decreases blood supply to the uterus, but straight sudafed is perfectly fine. I dont know about other states but in new york you actually have to go to the pharmacist to get the sudafed, as people were abusing it to make meth, so they have to take your drivers license info down..
1646392 tn?1333251893 Did your Dr. tell you that you can take 4 Way nose spray while pg? I will def ask about that and get some menthol cough drops. Never knew cough drops help with congestion. I am taking the pseuodophedrine only, my OB won't let me take the phenylephrine one.
Avatar f tn Try to start getting a lot of vitamin C like orange juice oranges or even vitamin c pills or packets it will help you feel better much faster.
Avatar n tn My Dr gave me a list of safe meds and on it are sudafed, Claritin and zyrtec.
Avatar n tn Thanks. I think that's what it may be. The pain *****!! I am going to buy some Zyrtec/Sudafed today.
Avatar n tn Please help, don't know what to do. 10 days ago I got a lot of water in my left ear. For a couple days I let it drain but it always felt full, lots of pressure, I can't hear out of it and for several days I've had this white slime like substance drain from my ear when I lay down. I don't believe it's an infection of any kind because there is no foul smell and no pain.
503607 tn?1275671579 t take Allegra anymore, nor Claritin, nor Aerius or Zyrtec. Also, no Sudafed and ones like that. He said I really shouldn't take anything with a heart arrhythmia, except to use a saline nasal spray from the pharmacy. That doesn't do much, but is better than nothing. When I get congested, my ears plug and I get dizzy. I really wish I felt I could safely take something, but am afraid to do so.
Avatar f tn The pharmacist will be able to help you. Most allergy medications are in a class that is not safe or the safety is unknown. I would use more natural remedies such as a Eucalyptus rub (Vicks Vapor Rub), steam, tea, etc. to be on the safe side.
10946054 tn?1417108117 Only paracetamol only 1 but your doctor might be able to tell you what else you can Take try honey and lemon with a bit of surgar
Avatar f tn You can take Loratadine (Zyrtec). It's just a once a day pill. Benedryl gives me restless leg syndrome.
Avatar f tn For your congestion you can take claratin or benedryl. You cant take nyquil. You can take tylenol pm but make sure its not the rapid release kind. I would not take all of these together. Pick one to take. Hope u get some rest.
7998970 tn?1435183202 For cold and sinus my doctors approved medicine handout lists the following: Tylenol sinus Tylenol cold Benadryl Sudafed Sinutab Chlirtrimeton Claritin Mucinex Zyrtec The hospital here uses the same list BUT its not universal :) hope this helps
Avatar f tn I know that you can take Zyrtec and Claritin, BUT I am not sure if you can take it first trimester or not. I think you can but check w/ your doc. I have taken it w/ my 2nd and 3rd trimesters in previous pregnancies. It's way better than Tylenol so I would def ask. Even though you haven't seen your doctor yet, you should still be able to call them and they should still be able to give you medical advice for a cold. In all honesty, you may need an antibiotic. I did this last time.
