can you take lunesta and xanax together

As needed or regularly? I personally would be scared to take Klonopin and Lunesta together. Have you done it yet? Is the Lunesta just for once in awhile?

You think you are not going to sleep without it so you go ahead and take it every night. I tried lunesta but couldn't get past the taste. It stayed with me all night. I also take ambein . It helps with irritability.

I want to taper off xanax. Would it be safe to take half a 1 mg. xanax with 2 mg Lunesta or would I then become dependent on the Lunesta also?

I have been on Celexa for over a year and I lowered it to see if I could be ok (depression) without it. But my depression came back. So now I'm upping it back to the dose I was origionally on. It takes about a week for my body to adjust to any dose changes. Since I've been on my typical dosage since 3 weeks ago, I can rule out Celexa. My doctor does know about my Celexa. My first guess it the Birth Control.

It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.

Doctors are prescribing this medication and the lunesta for months and years. If you do the research you will find out the companies state it should NEVER be used more than 10-days to 2 weeks at most. If you are having insomnia now wait till you have given up these meds for a few day and weeks. You feel horrible. I will never take another prescription sleep drug.

Can you please tell me if you can take Nexium 40mg. and Zantac 75mg. together or on the same day. My GI doctor has me on Nexium 40mg. and my PCP wants me to take Zantac 75mg. at night before I go to bed. Is it safe, and can I take it with Xanax 1mg. I have GERDS and Barrett's Esophagus. And they both think it mjght be causing these little pinpoint pimples in my mouth, tongue, and throat.

t, okay, but that will take time. But you can find a psychiatrist right away to put you back on Xanax and taper you off as you should have done. While you can get seizures quitting a benzo abruptly, especially after being on it for so long, since it's been a week that isn't likely to happen now, but the withdrawal you're going through might go away in a week and might last forever, so I'd play it safe and go back on the Xanax and do it the right way.

I was just diagnosed with an autoammune disease and don't want to take plaquenil just yet. Doctor said to take celebrex and a muscle relaxer. I have recently cleaned up from using xanax and I can tell you that you CANNOT under any circumstances stop taking it cold turkey as it can lead to seizures. There are several people here that can give you the names of alternate medications that may help you sleep. Withdrawing from xanax is pretty dire but in the long run I feel so much better for it. If you go to your doctor and tell him/her that you do not want to take xanax anymore, they will help you with a taper plan.

i recommend stop taking the xanax now because you probably know the withdraw from xanax can result in seizures. i recommend just getting some otc sleep aids, like maximum strength unisom liquid caps or some excedrin pm. ambien is also very addictive and if you have problems sleeping now you will really have probelm sleeping while detoxing off narcotic sleep aids. how long have you been taking these? you may already be somewhat addicted and may need to taper off.

I am a 21 yr old female who has been suffering from anxiety my whole life. For the past four months i have been in constant anxiety mode. I have tried every antideppressant possible all of them being to sensitive for me. I realize when i get a good sleep my anxiety is gone, but i havent been sleeping in months. I took Lunesta through detox and for all I know a tic tac would have been more effective. You know you can get through it - you have done it before. Just stay strong and prepare for the 'staying' clean part.. much harder than the 'getting' clean part. Best of luck!

It has come to a point where I need to medicate myself with several different medicines in order to fall asleep. I usually take Ambien 10 mg and I take two od those and sometimes Xanax 1 mg. I have noticed that Ambien doesnt really help much anymore. I just feel weird when I take it. Sometimes when I dont take anything to sleep and I manage to fall asleep, I have very vivid dreams and nightmares. Even after taking medicine, I dont usually fall asleep until 4 am and I am up at 8 or 9.

Trazadone is a great med that helps with sleep and it will also help w/anxiety the next day after u take it.I remember taking them when I was taking like6-8mg of xanax a day and I quit and took the trazadone to help w/sleep cause benzo w/d is rough and sleep doesnt come easy.Well to my surprise it helped a lot with not feeling like I was gonna jump out of my skin.The only thing is for me((maybe cause I needed it so badly)I slept9+hours the1st few times I took it).
