Take it. If you are too scared all you can do is try this. It is an over night thing so you will know by the next day if you are better. Cut an onioin in half and sit it in a bowl by you as you are sleeping. The onion turns black or brown from the infection as it pulls it out of you. If there is nothing on the onion then it is not going to work. My Dh does this all the time and it works for him, and me and the kids. SOunds weird ya but neat how it has worked.

Erythema multiforme which is usually seen as circular rashes (target like lesions) and usually involves distal limbs can be seen secondary to amoxicillin. I suggest you to consult pediatrician for further management. Take care and regards.
My man paniced about the well being of the baby and insisted to take me to the hospital, the ER doctor (obviously I don't know him) priscribed me amoxicillin for my throat infection (now that i think about it I would of managed with tylenol). He said it was PRETTY safe during pregnancy. Not convincing. So before i took the pill I asked the nurse if it was 100% safe and she said "Yes, it's 100% safe.
Now that you are equipped with the basics about the allergic reaction that Amoxicillin can cause, rest assured that you will handle Amoxicillin rash treatment with the desired amount of care and seriousness, especially when it comes to children, now that you can identify the real warning signs. If you are one of those lucky few who doesn't have an adverse reaction to antibiotics, then have no fear!

Make sure she still takes the full course of treatment though to wipe out the strep infection. For the fever, you can give her over the counter tylenol also called acetaminophen and also could use ibuprofen. You can check with your doctor about that but I get it at the drug store or grocery store and it works well to bring down a fever and make a child more comfortable. Loosen her clothing, take blankets off her bed.
I am not a doctor, but I know from talking with my childrens' doctor that a fever is a sign that your body is fighting something off. If you have been trying to keep the fever down with medication, you may be preventing your body from fighting off whatever this is. If your fever is not reaching dangerous temps, maybe you could try to let the fever run its course without meds. Like I said, I'm no doctor, but maybe this will help. I hope you feel better!
But my LLMD said he's never had a problem with people taking Ceftin that were allergic to amoxicillin. Plus, I have heard that you can grow out of this allergy or never have it and as an adult, become allergic to it. I'm just super nervous.

The Benadryl I would only take when I need sleep because it really zonks me out. But after taking it yesterday and getting some sleep, I do feel better! Good luck and if it feels like an infection call about those antibiotics!
It began in 1976 and re occurs every 5 to 6 years. I get a sore throat (not tonsils but when you swallow) I now go straight on antibiotics and use Bricanyl inhaler although it doesnt seem to have much effect except to cause alot of mucus coughed up from the lungs. It causes me to have spasm coughing and if I cannot control this to 3 or 4 coughs my windpipe closes over making it hard to breath in or out.
A physician has to determine the extent of the problem and treat it before it becomes a real emergency. As you can see this service cannot respond immediately to your questions. I hope you have sought medical care already, but if not, please do so if her symptoms remain. Best of luck.

In the US, you can't purchase antibiotics with a prescription. If you can purchase over the counter, it would depend on what you're allergic too but amoxicillin (similar to penicillin) would probably work. If the wisdom teeth are just inflamed and its not an infection though, trying to keep the area clean and placing ice on it while its "teething" would be a better solution than antibiotics as the antibiotics would do nothing for the inflammation.
Or if you were ever in a accident and at any time hit your head or jaw, you can start to experience symptoms yrs later. If you think you grind you must get a night guard asap before you wear down any tooth enamel....then you got big problems.

You should read the leaflet that came with them, that tells you what other meds you can and cannot take with them or if still in doubt speak to a pharmacist.
