Can you have contractions only on one side, or even braxton hicks contractions

Can you have contractions on just one side? I am having dull achy pain ony left side that spikes every 10 -15 minutes. Could this be contractions?

So since I haven't gotten many feed back on here like I do on babycenter I was wondering does anyone get cramps on only one side on your first trimester? Like I hadn't had them just yet and tonight I am having them cramps ok and off like contractions... But mild though. Is it normal?

If you're having crampa while your belly gets hard, chances are they are contractions. BH aren't associated with pain.. But you can also have cramps without contracting, just like you can contract without dilating, especially if your body isn't ready. But fingers crossed that your starting to progress!!!

This is my third pregnancy and i have never experienced contractions on one side. Your whole stomach should be getting extremely.tight and hard(usually 3-5 minutes apart for an hour or more)That is a contraction which can be followed or accompanied by cramps and back aches.

This might sound dumb, but can you tell them NOT to put the baby on your belly as soon as the baby is born? I did that with my daughter, but I don't know if they would have followed it if she hadn't pooped before she was born..

It can happen but it just depends. If you feel thristy when you wake up try drinking some water through out the night. I keep a water bottle next to my bed always refilled before I go to bed. And it def helps the nights where I wake up feeling like I ate half the dessert.

I was 3 weeks early. My early labor contractions I would describe as "little fires" only in the front for me and they had a burning sensation. Later, in active labor, it was all the way around to my back and undeniably contractions. It is different for every woman and that is why there is no definitive answer. But, you will know. How much longer do you have. You usually have lose stool before hand not constipated. You should try drinking water if you are dehydrated you cant have some false labor. Also get up and walk around if it does not get worse than you are fine if it does good luck hope all is well. I am also on my fourth...
