can you cut phentermine in half

I take a half of 37.2 phentermine and .150 synthroid can that throw my TSH out of wack. Are you suppose to take these two together. What can it cause if anything?

My doctor put me on phentermine, I would prefer to cut them in half so I know how I will react to them first. He said I shouldn't. Does anyone else here take these and have you cut them in half?

Are you doing your own b-12 injections? I have not been able to get the nerve up to even try yet...The phentermine worked great the first week...seriously cut my eating in half, but this week doesn't seem to be doing much...I figured I could make them last six weeks if I didn't take them on the weekends. Probably not such a great idea.

I too have done Phentermine (it is banned in canada now) and lost weight. You cannot be on it forever and your advice is bang on!! You do have to get up and move to burn calories. The food tracker in here is awesome!! It really makes you look where your food calories are coming from.

Since being diagnosed I have started taking a half tablet of phentermine to control my appetite in an effort to lose weight. I also started taking birth control again. My doctor also prescribed taking metformin(glucophage) in addition to the phentermine and birth control. I *can* tell you, however, that drugs are not the best way to lose weight; because, although you may lose weight on the phentermine, chances are great that you will gain it all back as soon as you stop the drug. I just started Phentermine 37.5mg last week. I haven't had a weigh in yet but I have noticed that I have cut way back on my food intake. Going through day 3 again. The only thing I hate more than being addicted to phentermine is having to repeat days after another failed attempt. My body hurts and I'm not in a very good mood. does anyone no how long before your moods starts to get better?

I know it sounds daft but he was told to try and eat a small handful of brazil nuts throughout the day they are a brill form of iron and they did seem to help. Hang in there you are doing really well. I wish you all the best for rest of tx.

i had a VERY stressful/anxiety period over the past 5 days which caused me to be an emotional wreck, not sleeping well, heart beating fast at times. i cut my phentermine dose in half and totally went off my diet. i was also taking bactrim DS (antibiotic for possible UTI) which had a negative culture (but my urine showed trace blood and leukocytes) and no burning while urinating. just frequent urination which seems better now. DR is not concerned.

I have been taking Phentermine for 2 and a 1/2 months now. I started taking it in April almost on the same day as my period started. Almost one week after my period stopped another one began. So I made a dr appointment. I've had some suggestions to cut the pills in half, but I have capsules, not tablets and they cannot be cut in half. What should I do??

I started the metformin at half the dosage since i am 13lbs lighter on friday night, today i am in severe abdominal pain, belching, horrible gas, nauseous, and vomiting which smells very acidic. I am cutting down on the dose of my beta blocker per my Doctor and I was wondering if I have to purchase a pill cutter or can I just cut it with a knife or razor?
