viread

Avatar f tn But my main question here after I give birth can I still breastfeed If the virus shows undetected, can I breastfeed while I am on viread will it be safe for the baby, I really want to breastfeed doctor says She does not know yet but will look more into it..
Avatar f tn No don't stop viread and wait for a couple of month till taf arrives completely in market and then switch to it as is renosafe. Stopping viread will flush ur 8 years of virus control and chances to lose hbsag in future may go in vane.

Avatar m tn I just had the reply from my previous doctor that I can take baraclude if I can not find viread here and it should quench the virus and prevent resistance to the medications. Thanks everyone for the advices. Any more suggestions are still very welcome!
1303524 tn?1323140356 t been told that I can not stop it after...I hate taking this pill every morning knowing that there might be risks for baby inside...I have hope that after delivery I will treat with Viread + Alinia and stop both of them. Alinia seems to be giving more fast results and seroconversion on HBV. Yes, you can not stop Viread (Tenofovir) because there are risks of flares.
Avatar n tn So because of your age and viral load, most guidelines would recommend treatment. You can either take Viread or Entecavir, and if your liver is in good shape, you can also try Interferon.
Avatar f tn Tenofovir a nucleotide analogue can now be used for treating CHB,,, can anyone tell me abt the nephrotoxicity profile of the drug
Avatar m tn 1- It will be a life-time medicine and 2 - My HBV may develop resistance to it. So I asked for another blood test to be sure and to test for GENOME TYPE since my doctors had never tested this. I am also thinking of getting a second opinion from another Hepamathologist before feeling sure to take VIREAD. My question: 1. Should I take VIREAD immediately as suggested by my primary care doctor? And why? 2. Will VIREAD change my life style, i.e.
Avatar m tn they sell generics so you have to search for ingredient tenofovir or name of the generic drug and not by viread
Avatar m tn Recently I did VitD test for the first time, and found that it is extremely low, so I started taking a dose every three months. What can be the reason of low efficiency of Viread in reducing the viral load? Can it be because I had very high viral load in the start? or low VitD? Do I really need to do biopsy? Shall I go for combo (+enticavir)?
Avatar n tn how it can be possible 44 yo and still eag+??? I see you're eag+ and eab+... right?
Avatar n tn Same thing happened to me and my doctor told me at least they knew i could get pregnant so dont worry you will. Its sad i would cry so much but i had a little girl after that shes about to be 3 and now I'm expecting another one. I cant lie im scared after that first miscarriage but im staying positive and hoping for the best.
Avatar f tn My husband and I just got into a huge argument because he accidentally threw away my baby girls ultrasound pictures. I had them in an envelope because I was taking them to work to show people, and he mistakenly thought it was trash while he was cleaning and threw them out. Unfortunately the garbage man has already come and gone so they are definitely gone. Of course I was upset, but I didn't get angry with him because mistakes happen.
