then I wore compression socks and the ringworm has spread in around the line of the top of the sock. kinda shocking. its been very hard to treat. wondering if this is even ringworm or what because it isn't in the typical ring like circular patch, it is lining around the edge of like were the sock was in a wrapping around type fashion. Nope, def a ringworm, I went to the doc who suggested I try to treat it with Lamisil and to return in two weeks if it had not cleared up. This is really freaking me out - every website out there says that it's common in people with weakened immune systems such as those with HIV. God. Okay, no, then I don't think it's ringworm. Because it's always in a ring pattern and when scratched turns red and stuff. I know I used to get random bumps on my palm and fingers though, that itched, without a picture it's hard to know if it's the same as yours though. I think I would try something like i mentioned before like nystatin though. Like I said it's worth a try and if it doesn't work you can move on to something else.
