I have really bad migraines. I used to take Excedrin before I found out I was pregnant as it was practically the only medicine that works since I couldn't take ibuprofen because of my blood problems I had when I was a younger. However when I went to my obgyn and asked what else I could take stronger than Tylenol, she said nothing. Not while pregnant. Just Tylenol.
It might be allergies I had the same symptoms before n thought I was sick but wasn't either way u can take benedryl it will work for cold or allergies just remember it can make u drowsy (good thing if ur having trouble sleeping) hope u feel better:)
Tylenol is the only thing you can take. I had the same problem when I was early in my pregnancy. I am now 38 weeks. Before, I would get headaches everyday. Bad ones. Now I haven't had any in months. I suggest drinking lots of water. That was the cause of my headaches. I wasn't dehydrated... but I was close. Just make sure your staying hydrated!
I got the flu at about 26 weeks. I'm now 32.5 weeks. I was allowed to take tylenol and I took robitutisum(sp) dm for cough. I Also got throat lozenges they helped. But once my fever got over 102 I was told to go to my normal dr. They ended up giving me tamaflu which I took for 5 days. Theres pros n cons with taking tamaflu. In my case it was a pro as my fever wouldn't go down with just tylenol. Keep fluids up. I'm A FTM too and baby and I are doing great.
I am prescribed Celebrex and skelaxin. I have a question about the skelaxin. Well my job is physically demanding I work in a hospital I do patient care I "boost" patients, transport patients, help very unsteady patients get out of bed and walk. So quite often I need to take my skelaxin. My lower back tightens up and I just need some relief. I have been taking it a bit more often than I did say 6 months ago.
