I have permanent atrial fibrillation, so my heart beat is irregular and prone to be too fast (I take beta and calcium channel blockers). I have never associated any heart behavior problems on the Fluticasone.

I still was dizzy off and on regardless if I was sick or not, my ears were still clogged off and on. I went back to the doctor every time I got sick between March and June, and they tried a variety of different things - Nasonex (which gave me weird side effects and didn't help anyway), allergy medicine (Allegra D and Claritin, neither worked, and the Allegra made me bounce off the walls); and Flonase (gave me nosebleeds).
I am tired of it and feel that it will eventually diminish my hearing. I am always asking people to repeat. I have been to 2 ENT, and no help. Taken Nasonex, claritin, sudafed but no help. Please advice as to what might help???
My tsh say they are normal but I'm not feeling well I have had chronic pain forever it seems primary Dr treats me w Norco that is ineffective and I just take so I don't get withdrawals I Don't know where to turn for help everyday I struggle just to get through do not have ins. And a that feel tests I should have to diagnose what's wrong aren't being ordered.'sometimes I feel so miserable from unmanaged pain that I don't want to live like this anymore.
I was diagnosed with asthma for which I take Advair and Tilade. I was tested for allergies and allergists said I had no allergies, but my ENT gave me more in depth tests and apparently I do. But, the allergist said that anyone would test positive if given the types of tests my ENT gave me. So, I am getting shots but I don't really know if they are doing any good. I never had allergies prior to this sinus infection nor did I have asthma.
I would talk to an allergist and see about allergy testing and possible allergy shots. If there are a couple of more severe reactions, treating them with shots should allow you to reduce your allergy medications. Allergy shots do involve a large time investment are more than worth it.
For the past couple of weeks my nose has been extremely dry. I have some alleriges and i have been taking Claritin and my nose spray, but, it doesnt seem to help..Also throughout the day i use saline. Sometimes when i blow its bloody or the mucus is tinge yellow and nose runs (not always ) Question? Does anyone else has this? I know i read something about the nasal thing. Is there anything else i might do.....its so annoying and i dont see the GI til the 23rd?
I usually take Claritin D every year when allergy season starts, and it usually helps me a lot. I haven't even begun to take it yet, so I will try it and see what happens. Hopefully it will be a success as it is every other year. I will keep you all updated, I am also going to make a doctor appointment just to make sure it is nothing serious. Thanks.
Our schedules require that she's up by 6AM (so that DH and I can get to work on time and she can get to before-care). On a good day, we're home by 5PM (if there's no gymnastics or swimming which she absolutely adores), dinner is done by 6PM, and she's had her bath/shower and is in her jammies by 7/7:30PM.
And playing sports is nearly impossible, I am short of breath due to the inconsistantcy of breathing and swallowing. I start college this fall and am playing baseball there and I don't know if I can take much more of this stuff. I was also forced to quit singing in a church praise band due to the fact that the gagging and hocking is never ending and I can't even make it through a song. I am willing to do anything to be normal again.
My ENT physician has suggested that I use Singulair to inhibit the growth of polyps. (I regularly take either Allegra or Claritin, and I also have asthma which is fully controlled by four inhalations of Vanceril and four inhalations of Intal each day.) Do you think that Singulair or other medications might reduce the recurrence of Polyps? Dr. Rosenwasser's Answer: Yes, it is not published yet but Singulair and Accolate can help sinusitis and polyps.
recently I had another allergy test but this time they tested for dust mites and I had a reaction.. I'm now beginning to take allergy shots. I recommend getting a test.. dust mites are at their worst in bed..
This causes more swelling and inflammation in your throat and nose, aggravating this self-perpetuating cycle. Steps You Can Take During allergy seasons (trees during the spring, ragweed during the fall, molds all year round), there are a number of conservative step you can take to lessen your symptoms, to more formal medical treatments: ● Stay indoors during high pollen counts with air conditioning ● Wash your hair before going to bed if you’ve been outdoors during the day.
Make caldo soup (: the help me the next day and I was sufferings from.allergy for.a.
I take xyzal and Nasonex and it does not help as good still. They can give allergy shots to cure your allergy problems. I couldnt because I have a rare skin disease and it could kill me.
I am on allergy shots and take zyrtec daily all year long. During the spring and fall I take 2 zyrtecs. I also take Nasonex every now and then to when my nose gets very runny. This keeps me functioning but not 100% allergy free. My current biggest annoyance is ear itchiness. To the point when I scratch my inner ear 3 or 4 dozen times a day. I am concerned that I am going to injure my inner ears and wanted to know if there is any medication that will help?
The air passage through by nose and sinus cavaties is clear and not obstructed. However, I can not smell. I can not smell cologne, coffee, and I have even held a jar of Vicks salve under my nose and I smelled nothing. Except for texture and temperature, I can not taste the difference between chocolate ice cream and salsa. I would appreciate any suggestions that might help restore my sense of smell and taste. Thanks.
I agree. It's raining like crazy here and I feel like my head is about to explode and I can barely walk straight. Please post and let us know what the ENT says.
Since I knew that I tend to have low serotonin, I bought 5-HTP at the health food store and take one nightly. That has held off the spells for awhile; however, I am suffering as I write. With so many people having these symptoms, I think it must be something the doctors are unaware of at this point. I wonder if there is a doctor out there reading our miseries.
But you can take over the counter claratin. My doc also told me i can take that, and then nasonex for your nose congestion.
I went to the hospitals so many times because I just could not take feeling so bad. I was told over and over again to relax It is anxiety. I am still trying to undertand what happened to me and why out of no where did I start getting these feelings. My pcp sent me to a neurologist and he thinks I am having sensory seizures which can be wrongly determined as anxiety attacks.

I just got back from running with my dog, and my right nostril is like really swollen on the inside and it hurts whenever I sniff. How can I cure this, as it's making a runny nose and it hurts really bad on the inside.
That night, my taste/smell was down to 85%. I took another Claritin today (Jan 1st) and smell/taste is back to 95-100%. However, the Claritin soon stopped being effective. Taste and smell once again went down to 40-50% on around Jan.2nd. Went to the doctor again. He said to try taking 60mg pseudoephedrine four times a day instead of 240mg once a day, as it was more effective. Also gave me Amoxicillin as he thought there may be some infection.
Hi, My symtom's started with severe headache and flu like symtoms with tightness in my sinuses and tenderness. I was prescribed Penicillian and nasonex nasal spray. I had an allergic rash appear from Penicillian and given an antihistimine to calm it and a different antibiotic Doxycycline for sinuses instead. I complained that the Nasonex seemed to make facial pain worse and ears felt full.
Your nose has vital nervous system connections to your lungs and heart. Not breathing well through your nose can alter your heart rate and blood pressure, as well as to increasing your stress response. Your nose makes about 2 pints of mucous every day. If your nose isn't working properly and mucous isn't cleared, the stagnant mucous can lead to infections such as sinusitis or ear infections. Lastly, not breathing well through your nose can aggravate snoring or obstructive sleep apnea.
I take a look at the watch, its 4AM...I blow my nose, drink water and try to elevate my pillow to prevent the postnasal drip. I have tried allergy medication, cleaning my air ducts in the house, cleaning and dusting even better than I already do... Nothing seems to work. Tried an all natural saline rinse, Nasonex, Claritin, Aerius, Never had any cough or problems before this summer. Chest Xray done about 1.5 months ago, clear. Doc doesn't want to do one again, too much radiation!
Thinking that perhaps I'm free to stop the meds, I stopped taking Claritin for 2 days (but continued Nasonex) and the symptoms came back after 2 days. I have decided to try Allegra and have been on Allegra for the past 2 days and so far it is really doing nothing. I'm concerned since these antihistamines are advertised to start working in a matter of hours yet that doesn't seem to happen for me.
I´ve been off the milk products for a month now and I don´t have that feeling of having weights on my limbs and I can´t move. I've also given up bananas and I´m finally able to breathe without the sensation of having an elephant on my chest- I´m still going to go see an allergist because I want to see if there is something else I need to watch out for.
